I don't think so, correct me if I am wrong, but I think you can use the app without having WIFI

You only pay if you want to access the internet (World Wide Web) . The local network on the ship is free, and it would be called the intranet. The method you use to connect is called WiFi. Don't forget to turn airplane mode on when your phone is on while onboard.

I always put it in airplane model, turn off cellular etc. then put in safe & leave until end of cruise. Guess I will have to keep it handy.

You can order anything off of the kids menu that you want.

I recently lost 45 pounds and wish all restaurants would do that.  I just cannot eat adult portions in one sitting anymore.  I always have a to-go box to bring home.  My dog loves it!

They have to leave Coco Cay to open the casino.

Actually, this was changed a while ago.   The Casino is open in CocoCay by special agreement with the Bahamas government   Also, docked late in Nassau, the Casino will open up before the ship leaves.

With using the QR codes do you then have to be connected to the ships WiFi & pay for the internet service?

Yes you need to be connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi. That is free.

You do NOT have to pay for internet (voom).

everything you need is free (except buying a phone or iPad).

Yes. Since they share the capacity limited MDR, MyTime dining starts as the early MDR ends.

thanks for the quick response Bird, guess my first sop will be at the Matre D when I board if that isn't changed in the near future, to get a dining assignment changed for early dining.

Did you notice if the Diamond club was open and how they handled drinks if it was?

Fairly well reported on FB that drinks require vouchers and coffe machine is manned by staff

Bird, you are my hero.  This has been so amazing to see.  I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying!  😉 Even seeing a hallway was a beautiful sight.

Ninja’s cutting onions. That’s my excuse.

Depends on your carrier and plan. I had service when I went but I def had to pay a roaming charge when my mom called 😝

We have Google Fi, 🙂 Data charge is the same as the US - 10/per gig, maxes out at 10 gig's. not sure how it handles phone calls tho - might need to check that out next 🙂

Thanks for the fast reply! We will be here next month!!! can't wait!!!

We also have Google Fi and have used it all over the world. Most phone calls have been $.20 per minute, where there is coverage.

They have a cell tower

Since leaving Nassau, I have been on Wi-Fi only using Wi-Fi calling to call friends and talk about the cruise.

Thanks Bird! appreciate all you posts 🙂
