It's just that you end up hitting it off with someone new, and then the cruise is over😓

That's true...though many are repeats for us.  😉

We most times get to torment many of the same pax...including the crew again, on the next leg.  😄

Congratulations to you Pinnacles!

Seriously! We have been cruising since 1986 and are only D±. We will never make Pin. Took us all those years to make D+.

Next time we see you on a cruise, will buy you a drink!

Happy cruising and Stay Safe!

Half way to Pin. Cruise other cruise lines. No favorite cruise line. They all have their + & -. Even the perks vary and some are outstanding. As an example NCL Platinum gives us 2 free Specialty restaurant meals.

Nice!  We enjoyed NCL...do they still do the "anytime dining"?   I remember 9 different restaurants on the 7 night cruise out of Honolulu.  More restaurants than nights to eat!  They were all good!  And no charge for any of them at that time.

Island Lady is certainly correct.   never say never.

We became D+  in 2007.   Sailed 5-7 times a year in a NON suite cabin, no solo cruising, no free casino cruises and never gave any thought to  our C&A  status.  Then it seemed  "all of a sudden"  in 2018  (not all of a sudden - it was 11 years!) we were in the 600's and stepped it up a bit to reach Pinnacle.   Didn't plan for  it, it just happened,  expect maybe for the last 3 or 4 cruises.

gotta say , the  best part was getting there!  lots of fun cruises.

Yes, NCL is Free Style. Three anytime dining MDRs. Specially Restaurants are excellent and shows very good.

We have 2 NCL cruises this year Med and TA. One X Edge, too.

Like I said, no favorite.

Happy cruising!

Wonder how many of the benefits they say are temporarily suspended will come back in the future?

What are the temporarily suspended benefits?

Or, do you mean all the benefits are temporary?

I'd say social distancing. Diamond lounges were overcrowded.

I agree.  It will encourage the folks that come in and stay for 3 - 3.5 hours to leave.

Wait just a minute here. Since when was here some sort of "Daily breakfast in the MDR" for Diamond and above. Granted my most recent cruise was in the previous decade, but I don't remember ever seeing that exciting perk on my welcome back list.

I ate there, dont remember the level needed or if it was diamond or what. They had 2 speciality coffees, kinda so so, but better than the regular free coffee. At least I was in on something even if I never once ordered a drink in the diamond lounge or with vouchers. Liked the breakfast. I must have qualified as they checked my card when  I went in.

They sectioned off a back portion of one of the MDRs which was used by D, D+ and P. They served special coffees, drinks, and breakfast. Not all ships did that.

Oxo.......in your 1st post on this subject, on page 1, when RCCL went through the changes , they mention some that would be temporary, those are the ones I am referring to, not all the changes since they did not state they would be temporary. What do you think????

My personnel experience with benefits, regardless of Company, are once something is reduced, it is gone.

Once a price is raised up, it never goes down.

Look at cruising . We have been cruising since 1986. Too many changes in food, quality, entertainment, real music, etc.

People will accept changes and even justify them.  Examples Drink Vouchers, Central Park perks, etc.

Companies count beans. They are in business to satisfy stock holders and show profits.

We started in 1989. There have been plenty of improvements and enhancements.
