In reality, unless you cruise ONLY RCI, it is almost impossible to make PLAT. JMHO!

That's what will be our situation in October.

Maybe things will change but for all my future Anthem cruises I booked lower decks midship. Will miss view from Concierge Lounge & spending quiet time during day there.

The drink vouchers are nice perks during days that the casino is closed.  They will fill in for the tier perks with the free drinks.  I usually leave the casino late in the evening with a bottle or two of water for the stateroom.  I am certain that I never came close to the 3 per day Diamond drinks even when they changed to any bay during the HH.  I might have used it 2 or 3 days during a seven day cruise at the pub for a draft.

Thanks for spelling the perks out -- I didn't know about most of them especially Internet.  Is free Internet Surf and Stream.

There may be some upset suite guests if they’re not D or above and get turned away at Happy Hour because of limited occupancy.

Never said it did.

Sorry but i understood your initial response to have something to do with a suite guest not D or above being turned away from the lounge.  My stance was the C&A status has no bearing on a suite guest and access to the suite lounge

I guess I am confused as to what we are talking about then.

With the list of C and A award link one thing caught my attention, and I do not know the answer to it.

One of the Changes listed is that PINNS can make CK reservations for dinner once they board by going to CK and booking reservations.

I wonder if when suites get their welcome aboard letter they can still request the days and times (early or late) when the concierge sends his welcome letter with all the benefits you get buy booking a suite.

I guess I will eventually find out in October, but sooner if someone shares the information.

Stay healthy

I believe the extra $25 speciality dining credit is ONLY on ships with a coastal kitchen.

Whenever they use a variation of the word "enhance", you know it's official.

I find it amusing that RCI usually feels it necessary to tell us that whatever change they are making is actually enhancing our experience.... just in case it is not as obvious to us as it is to them.

100% agree with that statement.

I believe suites will continue with the existing system of early reservations.

I think this line was added to warn the Pins that reservations may be more difficult to get in the future. Gives the CK manager some ammo to deflect the inevitable complaints. Just my unfounded opinion

It's been documented in Live reviews and on FB. Same lunch as usual, just no officers joining you for now

Oh OK...thanks!  That works for me.  It was always a festive event, met a lot of nice people and great conversations.  🙂

My issue in the past is it was generally not held until one of the last days. It would have been nice to hold earlier in the trip.

Great!!!  We are getting close to Pinnacle.  We'd have already been P if the Pandemic hadn't happened.  Glad for the double points.

Sherri....party at our place...  😉   You can help us celebrate.  😄

You are right...hadn't really thought about that.  I just remembered it was a sea day.  Guess I didn't notice it was later in the week.   No big deal for me apparently.

It's just that you end up hitting it off with someone new, and then the cruise is over😓
