Can you please check and see if there's a future cruise desk open for sales? On board Independence for a simulation cruise Sunday and thinking about booking if there is someone.

NextCruise was open on Allure.

My plan is to post from the ship during this 5 night voyage.

It has been 537 days since we disembarked the Allure and are looking forward to board the Ovation in a few hours.

Have fun

*Traffic into Pier 91 was a breeze at 10:40 today.

*Embarkation was good, but didn't board til 11:30-ish as first group time slot wasn't until 12 noon. Must have SetSail doc readily available, along with passport and vax card.

*Loyalty Ambassador is Nicol Torcende.

*Interesting, the 2nd folks I met were a couple who've never cruised before!  Said they weren't sure what to do.  And several others mentioned they'd only cruise several times prior. RC probably planned it this way.

Thank you!...have a wonderful cruise.

If you just boarded today, how does she have an orange status for COVID cases already? Isn't this the first sim cruise for this ship?

I noticed allure had orange the other day while their test was in process and wondered the same.

Slow thread!

Allure simulation thread was much more active, just sayin:)

Im jk for those ready to jump on me

With this much radio silence from three people who had been posting, there may be internet issues. We might have to wait until they get back to hear how it went. But that doesn't mean I'll stop checking! 😉

I think you are lying about not checking back… just a hunch 🙂

Thank you for taking the time...safe and happy sailing!

Looking forward to a few things:

* Traffic into Pier 91 and embarkation.

* Test to all prior to boarding?

* DL and CL concierge. (List of bar drinks with prices.  We know the drink vouchers are for drinks $13 or less...we wanted to make sure we know what to order. 😁)

* Loyal Ambassador.

* Captain Henryk Loy onboard?

* Lastly, what is the anticipated passenger capacity for the paid sailings?

Thanks again!

No traffic problem but only 418 passengers and 1 ship. Normally there will be 2.

They choose some to be tested

I will look for a drink list.  So far DL and CL are closed.

Not sure on LA yet

Yes Captain Lou

Startup pax count not revealed.

Masks were required as we waited in line outside.

As we entered the first step was to take pictures of our vaccine cards. At that step they also chose a some to be tested. Not us.

Then it was upstairs to security and normal check in.

Then on to the ship.

We have white bracelets, no tracelets.

As mentioned WJ lunch was a step up.  We need to scan in and out of the WJ.

At dinner they said we could scan QR code for menu.  The did provide real menu when I told him my battery was dead.

As I was exploring the ship it felt like turnaround day on a b2b and we were waiting for the new pax.

I heard there are 100 pinnacles.  At the show it there were a number of first time Royal and first time cruisers, I assume travel agents.

Solarium Bistro will not open on this voyage.

There will be  simulated SL tonight. I do not know how many are invited,   they may have more than one.

Internet is a bit slower than in the Caribbean.   My issue last night was a dead battery.

Yesterday it was 90 degrees in Seattle. Last night we started hearing the fog horn. A bit cooler today,  fog horn still sounding.
