You lot down there will hopefully have it under control by 25/3 as I will be down Bermagui way for a few days on the bike.😷

Hopefully, Regional travel should be back in a few weeks.  Bermagui is nice, try the pub and the cafe next door, very nice for a refreshment and feed.

Have booked accommodation at Bermagui Motor Inn and will be having dinner at the Country Club Saturday night. We may fit in a Merinda fish and chip cruise on the way home.

So, there are Covid cases in Waikato which is being moved to level 3.  That's a bit close to home for me.

Also, the NZ govt have announced that all non-citizens entering the country will need to show proof of vaccination.  Not surprising, but as to how that proof will be shown is tricky as every country has a different system.  Air NZ says that all travellers must show proof of vaccination on international flights.    Also, our vaccination rate is slowing down.  So, all doom and gloom from me.

Hi

the numbers are high because of the idiots that got together after the grand final.   We are still seeing their relatives who they gave the virus to now being infected.    As more people get tested we will find more cases.

the same happened in NSW and your numbers are dropping.

we are having more people getting vaccinated.

I think we will stick to the plan and things will improve!😅

be positive

Many year 12 school kids apparently. Also the idiots at the unlawful demos in Melbourne  all close together are a factor - Renta Crowd.

What lockdown?  Princes Hwy, Sutherland, NSW. Don't tell me all these cars are going to work or doing their groceries on a public holiday !!  What a joke.  Most coming up from Wollongong to see their relos probably.

If you get a chance (and it survived the pandemic) go to Aux Anysetiers du Roy on the Iles de St Louis for a meal. It's a small family run restaurant serving excellent quality traditional fare at reasonable prices. We go there everytime we go to Paris. There is a lovely little hotel, Hotel de Lutèce, nearby which I also recommend. Very comfortable and delicious breakfasts.

Probably we he doesn't get reelected.

If he's smart he'll wait and see what happens when (if?) Sydney comes out of lockdown next week. It will take another two weeks for the full effect to be seen.

33 Positive Yr 12s were picked up yesterday because students in certain LGA were required to have a negative test before doing their GAT exam today. The majority of cases in Victoria are young people anyway.

I agree about the protesters and also the GF get togethers and probably people just not doing the right thing by their community. We have neighbours who have visitors regularly or as our neighbours across the road do, go away for the weekend and last week, for a few days. We occasionally see our family at the park or if our son and his family are out walking or cycling, they will stop at the front and we will talk over the front fence, wearing masks. But they don't come inside.

Victoria has 1763 runs on the board today, 4 down.😬

The demos and the AFL Grand Final parties must be a factor.

Tomorrow 2000 ??    Don't know what to think.... at least our area is clear at the moment...... but how long will that last......

Batten down the hatches .......    did somebody say   "The Ring of Steel"

Starting to think might as well right off the rest of the year...
