How long after faxing to see shareholder credit?

Where do you find out if the shareholder credit has been added to your account?

Sign onto your cruise & up at the far right hand corner you will see payments. Tap on that  scroll down & you’ll see this information. The credits show any credits you have received including any credits from your T/A.

Hope that this helps & let me know if you can find this.

Tom😀

We haven't cruised since 2018 and hadn't thought about the Shareholder Benefit until I saw this thread.  After reading that now you can request it far in advance (we cruise in Sep 2022) instead of 90 days prior to departure which I was used to - I found the form (that I know isn't necessary) and faxed it yesterday - it showed up in my booking this morning 🙂

  • 3 weeks later...

Another data point:  I emailed my request for a 2022 cruise on Monday Oct. 4, and it appeared in my account this morning.

I am so glad to see other requests are starting to appear. For the last year(?) when they started accepting emails for the credit it was not unusual for me to email and see the credit in less than 12 hours. I took a casino offer a couple of weeks ago and emailed my request almost immediately--when I had not seen the credit this past Monday, I emailed the request again.  I have still not seen the credit but at least, I am not alone in finding that it is taking longer now. The cruise is less than 30 days away so I will plan on taking a copy of Stockholders credit and email dates when we leave---BTW  13 cruises out ahead of me with 12 having the credit already approved BUT I can not access any of them on the Medallion AP  (Guess that is another story 🙂 )

Can you get the shareholder benefit with a casino offer?

I emailed mine on October 4, and it hasn’t shown up yet. I’ve always faxed in the past and have generally had it within 24 hours. I may send a fax tomorrow as a follow up. I’m 28 days from sail date, and you’re supposed to submit it no later than three weeks before your cruise, so don’t want to lose track of it and miss out.

I talked to a very nice person in the shareholders office a couple of days ago. She told me that they are backed up with 800 requests right now and they are doing the people that sail soon first. She also told me that it would take longer if you fax instead of email it in. I totally forgot to ask her why that was until I hung up. In our conversation I said that I would just fax it in like I used to and she said don't do that it will take even longer. My cruise is next week and my credit posted. Like others I did one back when no one was booking and it posted in three hours. Good luck.

On board they cannot add the credit without approval from HQ, so focus your efforts on having the credit approved before the cruise.

I did originally emailed with 4 upcoming casino offers, and last week added 2 more though still waiting for those ones to appear.

I have many upcoming cruises of which at least 5 are casino cruises- When I posted earlier I had received CCL credit on all but the recently booked one. On that cruise I had not received the usual prompt (less than 24 hour turn around). I have been gone for 10 days and just checked---Credit is there--I guess they are getting swamped as we return to cruising.

I sent mine October 7th and still waiting.  I'll wait another week or so and resend it.

I use this one: sbpcl@princesscruises.com

Here is the info they require:

Legal Name:
Booking #:
Ship:
Destination:
Sail Date:

Attach copy of latest statement showing that you own at least 100 shares of stock. REMOVE all account info other than your name.

My current brokerage sends multi-page statements with many charts and then on an isolated page in a small typeface it lists the various shares I own.  Sadly this isolated page has no information that identifies that I am owner of the shares!!!

Send that page and another page which does show your name and address.

+1 on that, they sometimes simply lose them. A few months ago I submitted three, for trips in Feb 2022, October 2022 and Feb 2023. The first and last ones were added to our account within hours, but the one for the October trip didn't show. I noticed it missing many weeks later and re-submitted, and it was added within hours.

Update to say I sent a 2nd email on October 20, and the credit showed up in my account today, October 23. I sail on November 10.

I emailed my request on Friday morning and it has not appeared yet. When I emailed my request in August for my Majestic Princess cruise, the credit appeared the same day. I won't start to worry until the end of next week. My cruise is in seven weeks (but I just booked it last week). I'd like the credit to be there before I reserve a shore excursion so I don't have to pay for it up front.
