I have seen Bare Naked Ladies one time since I got married. Since then, I’ve only seen one.

Started evening in Schooner, Cape Codder and Beringer.  Moved down to Pin Lounge just before 5. Another CC and Beringer. Appetizers were weak. Off to MDR for 5:30 dinner.

Lentil Soup, very good

 

Medium rare Prime Rib

That was the only time we ever got to dock there. Every other time was Crown Bay. We had an awesome time on that cruise. The Crown Bay vs Havensight discussion brought back some wonderful memories. 

 

 

I remember docking at Charlotte Amalie (Havensight Pier) in the "old days" when 5 ships would be docked, sometimes 2 at anchor and 1 at the what used to be called the sub base (Crown Bay)  Those were the days! I was on Amerikanis when I took this pic of the burnt out Angelina Lauro in 1979. Will be on Allure on the 31st. ~ Mick

I met you and Laura on the Harmony President’s cruise in 2018 at that Royal Caribbean Visa cardmember “James Bond” party.  You had on your tuxedo and looked quite dashing! And.... Your nose was definitely turned up!  

 

Of course, It wasn’t your fault...I had on my mega high heels and was taller than you 😂

Back to the shows

 

Did Ice show at 7. This was vaccinated version. So no distancing between groups. Didn't realize that, was told by a couple that wanted to sit next to me.😉

 

They are still distancing the first two rows for the cast 

 

It was a good show. Love the hula hoop 

Act in the middle. No pictures 

 

After ice show, ran over to see Two Funny Guys. It was fun. Don't arrive late. 😉

 

Off to Dazzles for Karaoke. Time for serious drinking. Caught tail end, a few fun songs, a few groaners. Back to espresso martini and lemon drops to start. After Karaoke stayed for Temperature,  Motown night. Lots of dancing, even me. 

 

Assorted drinks as well.

 

This is Bazooka Joe. It was a gift

 

Also did Long Island, and tequila shot.

Laura danced with our bartender 🤣🤣

 

Overall fabulous evening.

That was a martini party. Surprised I was vertical.  Laura about fell into the ice sculptor at one point😉

 

BTW, a young lady on dance floor was taller than me, and she had on flip flops

HEADS UP for all who have booked cruises.  Price drop this weekend, I saved almost 1,000 and got a bigger balcony room.  Make sure you check.

I just checked our 12/23 on Allure.  no drop for us.  we got  few price reductions already.

Turned in 5,000 BOA Visa points to get two robes. I assumed it was ones we could keep. But after 3 or 4 days they finally delivered the ones that we typically get to 'use' onboard.

 

Talked to LA Paul this morning and he felt I needed to speak with shoreside. No big deal, I may have misunderstood the promotion 

 

Anyway, later in morning ran into our deck Housekeeping Supervisor and he asked how the cabin was. Said great, but needed to straighten out robe issue when I got home. He said no worries, he would handle it. 

 

20 minutes later these arrived👍

Thanks John -- that probably means that Elaine moved to the SL.  Friends are on Sunday's cruise  in a GS and I will confirm with them.

Hello!  I have been following along with your trip--You sound like lovely people! Thank you for all of the help and pictures.  We appreciate it.  

 

We will be on the Allure in June.  My teenager has aged out of Adventure Ocean 😞  He is very excited about his new freedom while his brother goes to AO. 

 

Could you please post a Teen Compass?  He would love to look at it. We have never needed one before and I can't seem to find a recent one.

Oh John, If you're using that much brown sugar, you're defeating the purpose. I would be an expert because I use probably about 50% MORE brown sugar when I have oatmeal.
