 Rabbit, Rabbit, White Rabbit

Good Morning from a very rainy and stormy day at the beach

Crazy weather ! This is usually our dry season. Oh well, nothing you can do about weather

@Rowsby So sorry to read of your husbands passing. Prayers for you and your family. May all your memories bring you comfort.

Have not been to todays port. Hope to see some pictures.

DH and I were talking about another booster. Not sure what to do at this point. Guess I will ask my Doctor at my appointment in May.  We had the pfizer  vaccine, both doses and booster.

Not sure of our plans now for the weekend. Suppose to be rainy thru Monday. So no golf thats for sure.

Stay safe and enjoy today

Good morning and thanks for the update.

It’s another sad day in PA. 3 police officers were shot in Lebanon Pa yesterday afternoon while responding to a domestic disturbance call. Sadly, 1 dead, 1 critical and 1 stable.💔💔💔🙏

No names have been released yet. Lebanon is about 1 hour from me.

Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.❤️🙏

Such terrible news.  I hope the injured recover.  Prayers for all involved.🙏

Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit.  Not sure if that is going to bring me any luck for April, but hoping it does.

@RowsbyI am very sorry to read of the passing of your husband.  I am glad that it was peaceful, sending you and your family hugs and love.

Good Morning Dailyites.  My mom always used to say, the faster you go the behinder you get, and that's just about where I am at today.  Please put in kitty prayers for my stray feral Fawn.  She apparently got injured, and because she is so wild, she wont let me pick her up, and following her around has stressed her out, so DH and I ended up last night, putting the cat carrier out beside her (she is under the front bushes) with her favorite blanket in it, put her favorite food on a plate, and while she did climb in, when I went out to see if I could capture her, she again freaked out, and limped off around the house.  I am not young nor swift enough these days to grab her, and get through 8 foot tall boxwoods.  So again, I have backed off, put out more food, and hope that she is as comfortable as can be.

I have far two many old cruises buddies that use my email for their connection to Carnival, and two days ago DH got an email, on my email, that Carnival was offering 1/2 price cruises.  Life is too short to say no to half price, so I asked him if he wanted to go back to Chichen Itza, and he said yes, but none of the days were going to work, all too close to existing cruises, so I found one in 2024, that goes to 2 ports I have always wanted to go to, they are not grand ports, trust me, but there are things at both ports that I have wanted to see, so I booked it, and at half price, I booked a balcony...not normal for us at all.  And it doesn't go to Mexico.    I get the emails, but I never get the offers.

My apologies for todays memes....not!

Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit!  Good morning from a dreary mid state. I had a friend who did tatting, such delicate work.  Not walking anywhere today, nasty outside.  Retired so no fun at work. Interesting quote. DH would love today's meal, will save it for him.  Have not been to the destination, looking forward to the photo's.  So sad that our law enforcement members are not safe anymore.  Domestic's seem to be the most dangerous.  @aliaschiefI pray you and DW test negative. @Rowsbyso sorry for your loss.

Prayers for everyone on our care list and will toast the celebrations.

Please continue to be safe and wear your mask.

Garden Delight:

Ingredients
1 part Midori® Melon Liqueur
1 part Gin
2 parts Tonic Water
2 slices Cucumber
1 large sprig Rosemary Sprigs

Instructions
Build into a tall glass over ice. Whip the sprig against the glass to release aroma before adding to the glass. Top with tonic water.

Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit!  Good morning, thanks for the Daily!  Truth be told, we actually did have a large white rabbit sitting on the snow on our front lawn this morning.  I'd love to learn how to tat; I guess I could look up some tutorials on the internet, couldn't I?  I could never walk to work, it was always too far.  As far as having fun at work, every once in a while I'd declare a "Junk Food Friday" in the staff room for the clerks and sheriffs.  Everyone brought their favourite junk food to share at coffee breaks and I'd supplement it with a whole bag full; it was the fun for me knowing they were enjoying themselves on their breaks.

@Rowsby I am so sorry to hear of your husband's passing.  You and your family will be in my heart and prayers throughout the days to come.

@kpladygood luck with your surgery today.

@1ANGELCAT oh my gosh, what horrible news; prayers for the deceased and for the other 2 officers who were injured.

Well we certainly couldn't see any northern lights last night as the skies were totally cloudy - those clouds emptied themselves overnight, so that means there's snow to shovel again.  Not exactly out like a lion, but I'm glad March is over - now bring on Spring!!

Not a lot going on for us today except that we bring our documentation to the person who does our taxes.  She lives on a farm about an hour's drive from here, so once the streets warm up and melt off we'll make the drive.  It seems every year we pay more and more taxes, yet the pensions we have don't reflect the increase - hmmm.

I like today's menu suggestion and we do have a cedar plank which we've never used, but it's Friday night pizza night at our house.  It'll be pizza on the dinner table tonight for us.  And wine.

Prayers for everyone who needs them and even for those who don't think they do.  Extra prayers for our Ukraine and those who are providing assistance, and for our  Daily family who are struggling.  We'll cheer on all who make up the happy list.  Be safe, wear your masks when you need to, get your boosters, wash your hands, and stay well.

Smooth Sailing!  🙂🙂🙂

Gerry

Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit!  Good morning friends.  First let me give Sue @Rowsbymy condolences on your husband's passing yesterday.  Many prayers for your family and I hope your happy memories comfort you.   I also would like to send prayers to the PA police officers and their families after being shot in the line of duty.  Very sad news.

Thank you Rich @richwmnfor the April Fool's Day Daily.  I've no talent in tatting, and don't remember having much fun at work back in the day.  I once lived about a 7 minute walk from work so was able to come home for lunch if I wanted to.  That was at the university where DH went (and the tree fell on the car).  I'm not a salmon person but today's looks good I must say.  And the wine sounds interesting to me too.

Thank you Roy @rafinmdfor the Care and Celebration lists.  Yes, the Care list is way too long.  I hope all our prayers are heard and answered eventually.  My first prayers of the day are always for the many people suffering and dying in Ukraine.  Then my family in poor health and my friends here on the Daily.  Cheers to those celebrating happy events.  Hope all the Covid tests come back negative!

I haven't been to Probolinggo, Java, Indonesia and was surprised to see we had that port way back on May 15, 2021.  Please show us any photos you have to refresh our memories.  Meanwhile have a wonderful day and beginning to your weekend.

Good Friday morning,  none of today's days have much going for me.  I am not crafty and am retired.  I did get an email from my computer repair company today is also International Backup Day.  I did mine yesterday so I was a day early.

Love the Theodore Roosevelt quote.  No on the salmon, another melon drink but the Rose' sounds like a good one.  I have never been to Java.

Prayers for all on Roy's care list, @Rowsbyin the loss of your dear husband and for the troopers killed and injured in Lebanon, PA.   Prayers for all involved in the Ukraine conflict.

Another say with snow coming down but not hard.   Another April Fool's weather trick.

My bread turned out looking good but I haven't cut into it yet.    We are having friends over for dinner so will have it then.   Food porn from breakfast on the NS.   Buckwheat pancakes.  I would like them better with butter and syrup but they were John's.
