Well, I too would rather be on a world cruise and not have to watch a depleted Ohio State Buckeye team play in a second rate bowl game and not the national championship.  Oh wait, sorry... I digress.

Wishing you many, many new adventures and a happy, healthy WC 2024!

Looking forward to this- and thanks for taking us along again!

So what’s this WC’s special souvenir going to be? ( My DH knows you as the “magic carpet blogger”.)😁

They didn't have these on 2023 - maybe they will bring them back in 2024???

Aloha.  Always enjoy your reports and photos. Your festive spirit transcends the voyage. We have been blessed to travel the world and visit the places you are sailing either by land or sea. Having children we are very close with and family as well as my mother precludes a world voyage at this time but enjoy your reports and experiences.  Wishing you good health and happiness.

It will be GRAND!

Henk joined a few days ago and officially took over as hotel manager yesterday. Others have been trickling back during the current holiday cruise. About 2 dozen of us world cruisers who already are on board the Zuiderdam met for an informal reception two days ago, where the party game was predicting which countries we actually would visit. Will Brazil get eliminated for having the world's worst visa application process? Will we make it through the Red Sea and Suez Canal, or will things change dramatically if we have to go around the Cape of Good Hope?

What would 128 days in the Caribbean look like? Overnights in Galveston, NOLA, Mobile?

We all agreed that wherever the ship goes, we will have a great time!

I love it!  I scored one of the 2019 carpets and it's in my elevator foyer!  I will be following you, probably crying the whole time, as we are not on this time.  Sigh......  Have a great time!

Thanks so much for posting these helpful tips and both general/specific information about the World Cruise.  I will be following along with great interest.  We are booked on the 2025 HAL World Cruise.  It is our first experience sailing on HAL, and our first World Cruise.  We are experienced cruisers, on a number of different Cruise  lines, including Oceania, Viking, RCI, Carnival, and Princess, and we hope that HAL will not disappoint.  We have taken longer voyages of up to 60 days, but never the 124 days of the 2025 World Cruise.  Wishing you a wonderful cruise, and many thanks once again, for posting your experiences.  If possible, please post about any specific events held onboard that we might need to plan for ( eg. special clothing, such as a White Night).

looks like a different itinerary than last year.  No Africa and No Aust/NZ,

Hoping the Suez canal will be safe when the ship enters the area.

Have a nice trip.   Royal Caribbean is on a 9 month world cruise which I think is too long.

It goes down around the cape to Antartica up to Los Angeles and then the rest of the trip has a lot of what Zuidy is doing but they go to Downunder countries.

I am surprised both are going to China.

I hope the RCI cruise goes well - this is their first world I think - also - there are lots of port days on that cruise, LOTS of port days - folks will have to pace themselves.    Does anyone have a blog to follow on that RCI cruise?
