Oasis not porting in town

It looks like you're correct. Checking the OP's posts, he/she is currently on Oasis Eastern itinerary and is in St Thomas today.

Neither the Havensight nor Crown Bay piers are close to downtown Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas. Only small ferries or tenders, latter very rarely, dock in the downtown area so OP didn't research this well. ;)

But I agree. Neither one is "in town" and the vast majority of cruisers get a taxi/open air truck/bus thingy.

Norway used to tender into Charlotte Amile. It always looked pretty anchored in the harbour

Oasis Class has only ever docked at Crown Bay. Seeing as Oasis has been in the Caribbean for almost 6 years, minus dry dock, I am surprised that the OP is surprised. :)

However, I have walked from both locations and the walk from Havensight is much more enjoyable than the walk from Crown Bay since the pedestrian walkway was built from Havensight to town.
