InTheWASide Posted January 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2016 Warning, as is the case with all cruise ships, some of these are not Koningsdam's best angles so just get over it...

jakkojakko Posted January 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2016 By the looks of the available pictures, the only, somewhat, favourable angle is from the side. The worst angle is from the front. Captain albert sometimes refers to other cruise ships as floating apartment buildings. Well, now HAL has one.

Randyk47 Posted January 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 17, 2016 As a "lover" of the S and R class ships I'm having some trouble with the Koningsdam. I certain hope it truly just bad camera angles but then again I look like Brad Pitt if you get the right camera angle.:eek:

Rare LAFFNVEGAS Posted January 17, 2016 #17 Share Posted January 17, 2016 Definitely her best view is a Side View, I guess those that picked on the Epic can know pick on the Konningsdam ;) :D

Captain albert sometimes refers to other cruise ships as floating apartment buildings. Well, now HAL has one. I've not paid a lot of attention to the Koningsdam or seen much in the way of photos but yeah, the first thing I thought of when I saw the front view was the newer NCL ships. Not very pretty. sail7seas Posted January 17, 2016 #20 Share Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) I tip my hat to all the work you go to finding and posting all these photos. You must scour the web constantly to find new photos. Good for you. Great you share them here. I dub we name you King of the Koningsdam. You are her best PR person.... maybe even better than those whose job is HAL PR? :) Edited January 17, 2016 by sail7seas

Despegue Posted January 17, 2016 #24 Share Posted January 17, 2016 Can someone confirm that her width is Old Panamax 32m., like The Vistas And not wider? She is basically about the same size as the Millennium Class of X and Radiance Class on Royal, both which are considered on the small side nowadays in the Supersize Market. She fits the existing Panama Canal, yes. She looks good to me, better than many newbuilds that's for sure.
