I'm getting a little bit concerned. Prinsendam is usually one of the first ships in the fleet with booking schedules. This year there's nothing after the Amazon at the end of 2019. I'm also a bit concerned that both the Grand South America and 2019 Amazon are longer than usual like they think the 2019 versions could be the last and the want to make them extra special. I sure hope I'm wrong.

Have you heard any scuttlebutt about 2020 plans?

quite the view.

Not like it was in 2010. I got a picture of her (can't find it now) in Tilbury with her crumpled bow after being hit by a massive wave. She looks fine now after the nose job.

The only scuttle but I have heard is what the Captain told us at the "Ask the Captain" session.

He did say that the P'dam's years are numbered but, on the other hand, she sells so well that she may well sail for some time.

I'll ask Annette (the FCC) if she knows anything about the Grand South America and Amazon. She has some new itineraries here that haven't been released yet.

I'll report back if I get any info.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

We are at sea today sailing to Killybegs. I kind of have a busy morning and mid afternoon as I need to prepare for the cabin crawl and poker run this afternoon and having the hosts over.

And we have an Indonesian lunch at 11:30 for those on the Collectors voyage. Technically i booked as a B2B but I guess they are considering it a Collectors for these things.

I should have some time after to get a bit more up to dae, I hope.

I do want to add one thing, before I forget.

Part of the promo for some on this cruise was prepaid HSC. We didn't have it on the first segment but others did and the HSC is NOT charged to your account and then shown as a credit. It just shows Promo - 0.

For this segment it's the same for our HSC as we do have this on this segment.

While it doesn't matter to me, for those looking to earn Mariner days, it means that you won't get credited for the HSC charges. Just in case this is helpful to anyone.

Everywhere I go, I have my camera with me. Everywhere, every time except early this morning.

And of course there were pods of porpoises cavorting in the water and I was sans camera :(

They were a riot to watch.

More of what we saw as we went along the harbour.

This reminds me of when my sister and I go touring through the English countryside. We'll be driving along, having a chat, and a random castle will pop up. I yell "Castle!" and then we carry on like nothing happened. Always makes me laugh.

This is Dawn Frend's house (sp?). I hadn't heard of her but apparently she is a famous actress and quite well off. I have to agree from the looks of the house.

Dawn French! Love her. She's probably best known in North America as the fat lady (as in "when the fat lady sings") in the picture frame from Harry Potter. Cute cottage. :p

I have had that experience. Entering Antarctic waters on the Zaandam in December, as I was walking along an outside deck, a couple of us spotted a penguin swimming along the side of the ship. My cameras were resting in my stateroom. That was the last time I left my stateroom without one of them.

Apologiies everyone. When I tried to get on, the wifi was iffy. I know better than to try when it goes in and out.

We had a lot of fun today. Indonesian lunch. Then our cabin crawl and poker run.

We had great hosts and everything from an inside single cabin to a Neptuen Suite. Tihis ship doesn't have "cookie cutter" cabins unless you are in one of the newly added ones so every visit can show different cabins.

I got to see the shower only NS.

And then it was bingo time again. And at least I balanced off some of my casino losses with a couple of bingo wins today. Had to split the last one but kazu did win two bingo games today :D

Sailing in and out of this port is so gorgeous.

We were having dinner and I couldn't resist running out to the deck to snap a few.

The sun stays high here much later in the day so it makes things easier.

I took a gazillion sunset photos when we were leaving.

We were sheduled to leave at 11 pm but from what the guide told me about how the tides flow in and the last tender announced at 8:30. I understood why we left around 9 pm.

I asked DH to choose the sunset pics. These are his choices.
