It says Beverage Package cannot be used for Room Service

Alas, that makes the Beverage Pkg worth maybe $100 max to us as we'd still need to order scotch/rum/gin bottles for cabin consumption. Still, looks like the BSE will beat our current Anniversary+Cyber sale booking. The number one thing for us is nearly always paid Gratuities, OBC above $100 is nice, WiFi is sorta nice; but the Beverage Pkg and any Specialty Dining are not much of a benefit to us. As usual, YMMV.

The Princess sales rep that had not heard about the add-ons passed me over to her supervisor, who apologized that not all of their sales people are up to speed on the sale.  I was able to get the add-ons added to our booking (Drinks & WiFi for $25 per day).

I feel for the Princess agents that are going to be very busy today.

Holy moly! Our June 2020 cruise would be the Worst.Sale.Ever with this promo. They raised our fares by $198pp and by a whopping $400pp for the 3rd and 4th passengers (yikes). That wouldn't pencil out at all with our current 3 for Free bookings. Bummer but not shocking.

If you are already booked under 3 For Free, I don't think you want to refare, instead add on the drinks and wifi for $25/pp/day using coupon code BEST2DW.  See:  https://book.princess.com/pdf/onesource/pc/sales_marketing/PC_Best_Sale_Ever_Retro_Guidelines_FINAL.pdf

You DO know you can just add on the perks without regarding.

Just refared my Anniversary-Cyber booking with gratuities and drinks @ $30 pp and after deducting the amount of Suite gratuities from my 12 night sailing and my TA OBC increasing by $70...my drink package for the two of us amounted to $23 per day!!!

Was on hold and finally got everything settled for our add ons. She was super helpful and after my long hold time, it only took maybe 5 minutes to get it settled. We were under 3 for free to begin with, plus the $200 airfare credit.

I'm on the phone now with a Princess Representative that hasn't heard about the add ons.  She is saying that I can only refare.

Hang up and call again.
Maybe you’ll get a rep that knows what’s going on.

I have a 3 day repo cruise, Vancouver to SF on hold w/TA for 4/30/20. For us, this is a casino rate cruise with a balcony for $299 pp. minus 25%. Today with the "sale", the price is $619. More than doubled.

If I didn't have this one on hold, I wouldn't be a player in this game. I have an appt. with my TA in an hour and we shall see what kind of a deal we come up with.

I don't see anywhere the $25, $30 or $35 add-on options.  I did a mock booking for my transatlantic April 19, 2020 - there was a banner on it for Best Sale Ever, but no mention that you could just add these on to your existing booking.  Also, it very clearly states that ALL persons over 21 in a cabin must pay for the PBP, unlike their normal stipulation that only one person may buy the beverage package.  My final payment is this week and I'd really like to add the $30 package if possible, but where are these options hiding?!!!

It's not on the website.  What you are seeing on Princess' website are fares for a new booking.  You probably want to add a coupon code to your existing booking.  You can find the coupon codes here as well as advice for your travel agent as to how to add the proper code:  https://book.princess.com/pdf/onesource/pc/sales_marketing/PC_Best_Sale_Ever_Retro_Guidelines_FINAL.pdf

This should answer your question.  Good luck!

Uh oh, it looks like it would be $40 a day for me to add a package on, as I booked under fare only.  If so, that's too steep for a 26 day cruise.  I've sent an email to my TA, hopefully she'll respond today to clarify.

I called and tacked the add on, what a great savings for my honey and I since we intend to partake in beverage fun.  Kept all our other promos.  With that, we are good to go for Aug!  😄

PS: I did have to provide the code # to the rep.  She laughed and mentioned there's a lot of new information they are digesting from today's sale.

We had SipnSail on a 15 day cruise this past Spring.  DW drinks Absolute Vodka.  Whenever we were on our way back to our cabin (or we could do a quick bar run :classic_tongue:)  We would each get an Absolute 'neat' at a bar on the way back to the cabin.  Pretty soon, we had two 500ml water bottles filled with Absolute in our cabin.  BTW the water bottles were also included in the drink package.  Get the package, bring a small funnel and make sure you have plenty of ice.  Enjoy!

Princess is making it hard to find.  This morning I logged on to the specific cruise date and and on the stateroom selection page there was a 'sale' banner on each cabin type.  Chose the type and there is a new section entitled Fare Options that needs to be completed before seeing available cabins.  That said, I just went back and now the 'sale' banner doesn't appear anywhere so make sure you drill down on the website.

Try checking the voyage list to see if your cruise is included.  The sale only covers cruises sailing after March 26.

My cruise is in 2021 and not on the list.  When I checked the same cruise in 2020, I found the sale option.  Guess I'll have to wait till a later sale.  BTW, the difference between the BSE and the Best Price was $540 PP.  It's a fourteen day cruise.

I just spent over an hour on the phone with Princess. Could have waited to get the add-on but i had the time today and as we are close to final payment wanted to get it taken care of.

We have two rooms booked and i was able to add the drinks and wifi to room#2 with no issues as there are two adults in the room. However, our room has a third person - a child - and it caused some confusion.

I was told all three of us had to buy the add-on. I didn’t really want it for our daughter, she is only 4 yrs old,  but it is still a savings for us even with paying $25/day/X3. Basically we all get drinks and wifi for the same price of the one alcohol drink package we would have bought for my husband anyways.

The problem was the booking system only showed wifi for my daughter since she isn’t old enough for the alcohol package. And it wouldn’t default apply the premier soda and coffee package. I was kept on hold and the rep kept coming back to apologize. In the end, she said that IT needs to add more lines in their reservation system and make a different code available for this to work. She manually added the premier soda and coffee package as a gift, and once their system is adjusted she will change the booking,.

she said there will be a delay on the email confirmations due to the large volume of changes and bookings with the sale. I see the ‘gifted’ soda package in our personalizer, but no reference yet to our drink packages even though the payments page does show our higher rate.

i will have to keep an eye on this.

It looks like not all cruises that should have Best Sale Ever pricing have them yet. We're booked on the 1/17/21 Ruby Princess Hawaii cruise out of San Francisco and it is not showing BSE pricing even though it's on the list of BSE cruises.

With more research, it appears to not be showing up for ALL Ruby Princess cruises in 2021 that are open for sale even though they're all on the list at https://book.princess.com/pdf/onesource/pc/sales_marketing/PC_BestSaleEver2020OSVoyageList.pdf

Second rep seemed totally cluesless!! How are you getting through to the Princess reps??? One hour 10 minutes WASTED. She insisted I had to refare. No such thing as add-ons. I asked for her supervisor. Then, after 20 minutes, she comes back and starts the same thing!!! My cruise is to capacity...NO, it's half empty!!! Blah, blah. This should not be this hard. Then I was transferred to customer service. Two minutes on hold, click. Cut off.

Not happy at this point.
