Graham. Your attitude is fine, your photo's of you and Pauline eating your McDonalds breakfast are fine. In fact when you don't post them I often wonder if you are eating proper. Hope you are nearly fully recovered and hope you ignore nasty comments. The moment we are allowed to be out and about we will be off.

85 miles down the motorway to get there is nothing to me as a very experienced driver as is the drive home.

I am expecting everywhere to be in tier 4 from December 30th coupled with an eye operation I am booked in for early January it might be our last opportunity to go to that great outlet for a long time.

Best wishes for your op - I really hope it goes ahead as planned. As for the entire country going into Tier 4+, I think that’s the only sensible thing to do. Avoids confusing rules all round.

For the first lockdown I never drove more than 3 miles and Pauline and I worked from home.

Best wishes for your eye operation Graham, I am still waiting for another appointment to replace the one cancelled in the Summer.

We are only about 15 miles from the outlet but rarely go there, York is where we do our main shopping but mostly in town in normal times.

Our favourite supermarket is on the edge of the City and that's has far has we go at the .moment.

Sadly Son in Law has it.  As a family we have been so careful.  I haven't seen them,  close up for months and months.

 

He works indirectly for  Border Force, so had to drive , often with a Police Escort, around where the Dover 'lorry stack' was.

 

Its a shame when they were so careful indoors, even their  teenage daughter  took herself up into the loft extension for 7 days when someone in another part of her sixth form got it.

 

Luckily he isn't too bad.  They followed every rule they could but having to work is probably what got him.

The eye Infirmary is for eye problems only so hopeful it will go ahead and be successful.

I hope you get your appointment rearranged soon.

Sorry to hear that and hope he makes a fast recovery.

He serves as a reminder to us all how easy this can/could be caught. He like our son 

has no option but to go out there to work and for them who can work from home should do so.

This close to getting our vaccines is simply not worth the risk.

Your teenage daughter is a shining example to us all, she thought of others first, she could have gone out with her mates ,shopping etc . You should be proud of her, she did right by you all.

I believe it was at an eye appointment on November 2nd that I caught it as we had been nowhere else before symptoms started on November 6th.
