Free Sorrento's pizza tastes great after an evening in the casino of drinking and losing money😆

I can 100% identify with this statement. 😄

It's amazing how the taste of Sorrento's pizza changes through out the day.  It's acceptable/eatable early afternoon, pretty good as a pre-dinner snack and one of the best meals I've ever ate on a ship at 2:00 am. 😇😉

Either the dough gets better with age or they must have better pizza chefs working the late shift. That's the only thing I can think of. 😊

Sorrentos is a lot better than many of the pizza parlors I have dined in during the years I worked in Manhattan.

Wow..Texas Ranger Stadium is indoor?

Better be, Texas is hot as He$$ in the summer time.

I'm sure their attendance is a whole lot better since they built the new stadium, it's one of the reasons they went the free agent route for the first 2 players in their lineup. Without the new stadium they never could have afforded those 2 guys.

I don't disagree with this statement. It seems like for every really good pizza place, there is at least one not-so-good. I won't say bad as I don't think I've every had a bad slice. Except in High School where they tried to pass off a piece of cardboard with a hint of ketchup & some cheese-like material as pizza. 😉

Surprisingly, the "99 cent Fresh Pizza" slice joints are better than expect as long as you don't mind standing at a counter or eating it on the run. Which is what I usually would do as I race to get on the last train out of Grand Central.  They've been around for 10-15 years at least and just recently upped the price to a $1.25 a slice due to - what else -  inflation and supply chain issues. Haven't changed the name however.  They have handwritten sign by the register saying the price increase is "temporary".  haha. We'll see about that.

It also tasted great  (and was a life saver) after the stinky dinner in Wonderland....I am one of those minority who does not like Wonderland dinners. I like the ambiance and the chocolate globe, but not a fan of the food that does not look like food. LOL😁

I haven't tried it, but I have no great interest in doing so, either.  From what others have said and the various videos and photos I've seen, it just doesn't seem like my cup of tea.

If it were free, I might try it once, but even with the D+ BOGO offer, it just doesn't call to me.

Would you say that Sorrentos is better than many of the Brooklyn Pizzerias in the areas that you and I spent time in ?

I have no idea of what pizza places you tried ,I can tell you n pizza places I have ever tried in Brooklyn are way better than rccl.  Most pizza in Dallas are way better than rccl and of course those in Italy are way better but you are not Italian and never been to Italy.

Since you're probably familiar with the area, New City Pizza and Rocco's also in New City are the best for pizza IMHO.  Food, of course, is subjective but I can't see Sorrento's on a cruise ship ever coming close in texture and taste.

Those cooler boxes or fridge doesn't keep anything cold anyway, might as leave the pizza on the countertop with a napkin covering it or with a plate and one of those covers they bring with plates for room service.

Depends on the cabin and ship.  We've rarely had an issue with keeping things cool enough in a long time.

Even on VY currently the fridge is keeping my wife's soy milk plenty cold.

My next batch of cruises will be nine B2B/S2S for 61 days at sea (there is one day on land in the middle when I change ships).  And I STILL won't want to come home!

I'd gladly be the female version of SuperMario if I had a sugar daddy or won the lottery or something!

I know someone that can help with that.

I must confess... I am already looking at extending my Allure/Galveston situation....

I don't doubt that.

A week.

I lasted one whole week from when I posted this until when I emailed my travel agent to add a third cruise to the two I have booked in January on @Ocean Boy's beloved Allure out of Galveston.

Technically, I only lasted six days, since I sent the email just before midnight.  It took six days and one hour for me to cave.

Yeah, I know I have a problem.  Hey, it could be worse -- at least I'm not addicted to something illegal.

I look at your mushrooms??? and think sautéed lamb kidneys.
I had them for breakfast in NZ every day.
But never in Great Britain or Ireland.

There is toasted bread which complements the baked beans with our English breakfast.

Black pudding is also part of a traditional English breakfast but we always ask for it to be left off our plates

I had to google that.... yep, I'd leave it off my plate, too.

Won't need any more storage in my cabin😁

Is that a snoring closet in the back?  I don't think there's enough sound proofing in that curtain for it to work for me.

Yea, this design puts the bunk room to close to main bed. That's one reason I still have this room to myself.

The bunk room design on The VP suites is much further away and the curtain works.
