I also hope your warm sunny days continue for the rest of your cruise, and that you find mild, warm weather upon your return to Pa..😊 Cable beach is in Nassau. Short taxi ride from Port. There are a couple resorts in the area that sell day passes but taxi driver took us to a beach between 2 resorts where we could rent loungers for $20. There was a decent outdoor bar with daily special of 3 drinks for $25. Boy, they were strong drinks.

I have a meeting tonight, for a government board I serve on, so we celebrated early on Saturday night. It appears that Daryl is alive and well, and he appeared on the cards the grandkids made. I think our granddaughter is excited about sailing on Utopia, because that was also on her card. A nice cake. and a nice meal, cooked by Susan. I know I am several days behind, but I hope to catch up soon. Happy Birthday Mark 🎂 🥳

Nice area with beach loungers, beach bar and tiki bar. I guess I'm out of practice with day drinking. Perfect Margaritas were very good but very strong. Had a nice crabcake sandwich. Hung out till 5 pm. Food onboard has been good. We skipped MDR last night and grabbed some snacks in WJ. Around 11 pm we ordered Buffalo wings and cheesecake from room service. Both were delicious. Today we are headed to Cable Beach. Weather has been partly sunny/cloudy. My neighbor has been sending us kitty photos. All good there. Cabin on wrong side for sunrise photos....will get them on way back. Ive been sleeping in till 6:30 or 7 am Happy Holidays Debbie, wishing you an amazing cruise and good weather

If we can find room we will. After these next 5 we will have 130 points. Need to do something as we want to get to Diamond Plus. I'll just be 15 points away from D+ after my summer cruise on Serenade. Looking to see if I can get it in one cruise but most seem to be around 09-14 nights

We both got on the flights we tried for but flights were very full so we ended up seating separately in middle seats for both sin-dxb and dxb-lon sectors. Went to see Dr about the fainting episode and upshot is he's scheduled me for further tests and in the meantime I've had to legally notify DVLA (car licensing authority) and can't drive until they tell me I can. Probably until after results of tests are in. Big change as I'm so use to the freedom of driving 🚗 10
Rare aussielozzie18 Posted March 7 #116738 Share Posted March 7 Been blessed with beautiful weather for our mini break. Up early for sunrise at the Lighthouse. Photo’s aren’t spectacular but it was nice to have it to ourselves. Walking up this steep path to reach the Lighthouse several times a day has been a good workout After sunrise, we walked 1.5km to the closest coffee source - a little caravan open at 7.30am. Early morning views. Then because it was beautiful weather, we checked out the beaches. First one had a dingo roaming, so we gave that a miss. No photo as we didn’t want to get close. We drove a fair distance to Booti Booti NP and saw this guy making the most of the bench near the outdoor beach showers Nearby was Blueys Beach (22km from the Lighthouse) we drove here because DH wanted to try a particular cafe for lunch. Then headed back towards the Lighthouse and No1 Beach is where we spent the afternoon swimming. Water temperature was lovely. Boat Beach has the most beautiful blues. Finally, tonight’s sunset from the headland near our cottage. Hoping all the World Cruisers have a lovely day in my home city, Sydney, tomorrow. 24

The TA I booked is 13 days sure enough. Lol. I feel like I'm in no man's land between D+ and pinnacle ... a too long stretch. 3

I'm sorry you have to go thru this trying to figure out what caused it. I am back to eye doctor today but I dont think he will be able to schedule me. I'm still having a discharge from my eyes and nose and he says cant touch after cataract surgery. Dont see him until later today but dont think surgery is a go yet.

Hope your issues are resolving and you are feeling good. I wasnt feeling bad. Just coughing. Not sure what is causing the coughing. I expected my gp to prescribe something. I went to him sick that day. Very disappointed in him. Referred a doctor who has no openings until may. I'm moving in may .. I hope. I was trying to not figure out how many cruises I need to hit pinnacle. They are coming slower. I have a 7 day booked on mariner and talked a friend into going so I cant easily back out. Mariner is just doing that one 7 day maiden voyage then 4 and 5 days. Not even a b2b, then I dont cruise again until oct. Last booked out of Galveston. My awesome TA added to that one, I'll be moved and have more time by then. Waiting for SW to open nov 3 bookings. Book a flight home. Day time choices were getting worse so I booked a flight to hobby. Just not home. Lol compared to where I started at d+, 200 pts sounds like nothing, but with new higher prices, it's not what I planned. I saw couples spending weeks and months on a ship. I think those days of months on a ship have passed me by. "Just 200 pts" doesnt sound like a lot. Too much going on right now to cruise more right now. My realtor said he would have someone call me. I want some stuff done before I get there with furniture. Some stuff can wait. The guy just called. He will call me later with some estimates. He can do the painting and do something with 2 lights I want changed. And his daughter has a cleaning business. Havent decided about new cabinets and appliances. It can wait until I get there. I love the granite countertops. The pulls on the cabinets are built in, cant just change hardware. I think painting them is not a good answer either. See what it would cost to replace. Idk on the kitchen yet what I will do. Cabinets look dated though with that design. They are in good shape, just those pulls. The guy said 80s cabinets. Bldg built in 1991. He said well they used 80s style cabinets. I've never had real granite countertops so i hate to pull them out. I like them. So lots to decide .. then i can cruise. Maybe reward myself when I get moved with a suite. Lol.
