Mean while we should all be asking a specific dog about lotto numbers.

Lenny, give that pup a chin rub.

I don't watch the show, but I would love to get in on that lotto action!  Just what I was going to post.  You beat me to it.

I had the best 2 hour phone chat with my oldest and dearest friend last night.  We met in 3rd grade and never lost touch.  Through boyfriend heartaches, weddings, becoming moms, cancer treatments (hers), strokes (her husband), etc., etc., through all the years we've always been close if not physically than spiritually.  We're old school and never once emailed or texted.  Those would never do. Only phone calls for us.

So last night we were transported back again to a more simpler time.  We often do that, remember all the good times and the closeness we still share. Oh, did we laugh!

She still lives in the neighborhood we both grew up in.

We were besties before Taylor Swift was born.

Call YOUR bestie today and relive the times you will, hopefully, always remember with smiles.

@h20skibumwhat an exciting Season for your grandson!!  Do they have playoffs in his Division?

They do have playoffs, but I don’t know if he realizes yet, but their family trip to Universal is the week that playoffs start.   Maybe they will still be playing when they get home.

@Momof3gurlzenjoy your new granite Island, Deb and Andy!!

Jim's putting our new Gazebo together.  Man, there are so many screws and pieces to assemble!!😳

Been there and done that with a gazebo.   The one I bought for our hot tub is a hardtop one, so there were lots of pieces.  That was really a good choice, because it lets us use our hot tub year round.

Good afternoon, Graham!  Have a pleasant day!  You must be close to the beach.  Nothing like enjoying your day being near the water.

Chilly and breezy here once again today.

Thank you Maryann.

This beach is 5 miles from our home.

This is so pertinent to what i have been doing for the past week. This has been a retirement task of sorting out my photo file.  We had been on quite a few trips going back to 2005  and the camera date was wrong.  I could not find any photos because they were all the wrong date.

As i have been doing this I noticed how the number of food porn photos have increased.  Actually just how many more photos we take in general.  I have nearly finished the task but found the change in photo habits has been so interesting

@dani negreanu Dani, from me too and for everyone who celebrates.  Dani, I bet your DH makes a fabulous cheesecake!

For those not in the know:

Coming fifty days after Passover, Shavuot – which means “weeks” in Hebrew – commemorates the day God gave the Torah to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai. It is thought to originally be an agricultural festival, and while are no specific requirements for celebrating Shavuot — unlike the many required observances for Passover, for example —there are many minhagim, or customs, associated with the joyous festival. One of the most widely held customs for Shavuot is to celebrate by eating dairy foods, especially cheese.

Cheese, Yummm! If I were Jewish, then this one would be my favorite festival! DH never told me about this one.

My Parkinson’s Support Group just ended. It is a zoom and open to people all over the US.A new person joined the group tioday. When a person joins the group they are asked to introduce themselves by name and to give a mini bio of themselves.

A person joined today. When he told us his name I immediately knew who he is .He is the person that the character from Seinfeld ,Cosmo Kramer is based on.

I believe it was reported just before I was checking out today's news.  The article said she became a Swiss citizen about a decade ago.  I didn't know that.

I believe that her husband who was born in Germany was a Swiss citizen and when they married she moved into his residence in Switzerland.

Where in Horsham?   That's about 20 minutes from where we live.

Possible   Home2 Suites By Hilton Warminster Horsham

Seems to be in our target area, it's about 1 hour from my Sister's house in the right direction toward I-81. Would save us an hour driving time the next morning.

Reviews seem to be decent there of the hotel. Do you have any other hotels in that area which might also be good?

TSOTD  reads Born In Brooklyn.I have worn a shirt with these words on the first sea day of every cruise. It generates conversation.

Today at my Zoom Parkinsons Support Group a guy said he was born in Brooklyn.I asked where and it was the area where I grew up.

i told him the cross streets. He lived 3 blocks away from me ,and is the same age as me.We both went to the same elementary school .

In my opinion aside from the outcome this was the best final episode show in the history of Survivor because many of the contestants showed their humanity.

I though it was a good final tribal too. There was no toxicity.

Nooooo, DH is on the cooking side, and I'm on the baking one 😉 Last time when I've left him to his own, he decided to bake my famous chocolate soufle... he added salt instead of sugar.... enough said.

Thank you, Graham, for the special wishes in Hebrew, and Bonnie, for "saving" me the "explanation".

Arzeena, look what you're missing 😉

We celebrated "Shavuot" with our kids, grands and our in-laws (since their other 2 "kids" took the opportunity of the long WE and flew abroad).

Inaugurated our balcony for the season, and were lucky to find a very tasty water melon.

I've baked a cheese cake, as is the tradition. It was a very pleasant and lovely evening, with the time flying by.
