I have browses rooms for 2 & 4 for all categories and there is so many available rooms.

Yes, I've read that from you before. As you say, to each their own. I actually hopes it cruises too, mask or not. I'm willing to sail either way, which I'm sure you've read before from my comments. I guess I'm used to masks since I pretty much wear them 14 hours a day at the hospital I work at. Trust me, since I have to wear a mask, I would rather do it on a ship then at work all day. 😉

Unless I missed it, so far nothing anounced for Italy, Spain and France, likely they will also open up the cruiseports for regular tourism then.

Sold our big ocean going fishing boat years ago, later sold our "flats" boat...then the canoe.  Bought two very nice Kayaks instead that we enjoy.  Our fishing days here (with the work and expense that went with the activity) are gone now.  Spent over 25 years fishing the area here...caught a lot of Redfish and Sea Trout.  Always came back with fish for dinner, and I cast netted for my own live bait too.  

 

Have excellent fish markets here in town, work well for our fresh fish dinners now.  

 

Not going to stop us from going on a charter fishing trip for Halibut, King Salmon, and Ling Cod in Alaska though.

no I do not tell clients that, these trips are for me personally.  Also, my clients are pretty much family/friends and they all know the chances of trips actually going or not.  But my hope is for my trips only, no one else.

you're correct,  nothing announced so far.  All three countries have announced that they will be open for international tourism (read: from EU countries).  Most of the dates for reopening are listed as June or July.

Unless that automatically once the countries are full operational again for tourism between mid June and begining of July automatically cruise ships are allowed again as well in accorance with any restrictions of entry that apply also when arriving via land or air.

Wait till is 90 and 100 %humidity. See how you feel. I wear one at work as well as firefighter/paramedic. Last place im wearing one is on vacation

As stated before, to each their own. I’m pretty sure you won’t wear a mask while on vacation, I’ve decided that I would. I won’t change your mind and no matter what you say, you can’t change mine. Last I’ll comment on this subject. Old news.

 

On another note, thanks for all you do. I know what you go through on a daily basis. They arrive at our hospital after you guys do what you do. Stay safe.

The EU has announced that all borders will be open as of 1 July.  Obviously this does not include the UK.  So far Greece and Italy have announced that "international arrivals by sea"  will be allowed.  As for exactly what that means, your guess is as good as mine.  The UK is essentially closed at the moment because of the imposition of a mandatory 14 day isolation period for everybody entering the UK starting tomorrow 8 June 2020

Age and health restrictions on opening cruises could be a great way to restart. Less liability and risk. Shake out the new normal. But which Caribbean ports are going to be open. Don’t all cruises from USA except Hawaii have to visit a foreign port. Canada has closed its ports. How’s Alaska possibly without the Canadian port. Bermuda doesn’t seem interested in cruise ships yet. Hospital facility and capacity on any island is limited.

Have hawaii cruises changed the foreign port requirement? I was on celebrity but we made a pit stop in Mexico.

 

I'm cruising soon ... south, cozumel belize or roatan, maybe another mexico port. No one ever mentions the ports a lot of Galveston cruises hit. I guess we will know by the end of the month? There will be another round of cancellations... or none if those ports are open. I'm not even starting check in until this time I'm sure the cruise is going.

 

Kinda late to impose age and health restrictions... now that people have rebooked.

Not RCI but....As a result of the continuing impact of Covid-19, Cunard has extended its pause in operations to sailings up to and including 1 November 2020 for Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, and 23 November for Queen Elizabeth.
