Sorry if this has been posted, but I did search and didn't see anything.

Do Quantum ships have Broadway shows like Oasis class?

If so, does snyone know what Odyssey will have. Looking at doing April 2023.

Many thanks!

Nothing announced as far as entertainment for Odyssey.

Follows the complete list of Odyssey of the Seas lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults.

Royal Theater (1299-seats lounge) hosts 3D Movies, aerial acrobatic performances, Broadway-style productions. Grand-production shows include "Mamma Mia!" - themed on ABBA's greatest hits - with dancing and sing-alongs.

I have no idea how accurate this is.

I don't think Odyssey production shows have been officially announced; however her sister ship Quantum previously had Mamma Mia; and Anthem currently has a West End show, We Will Rock You. So there is a chance for a Broadway/West End show; but a Royal Caribbean original production is more likely. They did announce "Oceanides" as a new, Royal Caribbean show for 270 that will be exclusive to Odyssey.

Given that they're still showing Civitavecchia departures for this summer, I'm going to guess that it's not the most accurate. 😉

That site is notorious for cut and paste from other ships in the class.  Sounds like this is a cut and paste from Quantum.

Given that it did mention Oceanides I thought there was perhaps some credence... 🤷‍♀️

They have updated part of the site...perhaps work in progress?

Eventually, in early-March 2021 RCI announced that Odyssey OTS' inaugural season starts in May 2021, but will be open for residents of Israel only. The revised itinerary program offers 3- to 7-night long voyages leaving roundtrip from homeport Haifa-Tel Aviv. The Eastern Mediterranean itineraries visit only Greek islands/ports - Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, Piraeus-Athens, Limassol Cyprus.

Grease would make a lot of sense given the ship was initially supposed to sail often to Greece.

In that case Mama Mia would make even more sense since it is set on a fictional Greek Island and part of  the movie was filmed in Greece.

And Egyptians worshiped Cats, and that's next to Isreal 😉🐱

  • 4 months later...

When I  was booked on the July sailing , I called and was told the shows were Effectors,  Showgirls and The Book.  I did a little research and found out the first 2 are on the Spectrum of the Seas , so who knows if I got the right information. We'll all find out in a few weeks .  As long as its not Cats .

Hopefully now that she's launched we'll get an answer to this question.
