Oasis of the Seas May 2014 Quantum of the Seas December 2014 Anthem of the Seas June 2017 Harmony of the Seas May 2018 Adventure of the Seas September 2018 Amazing photos and videos! Those are way superior than those of the average shutterbug like me. It was great to relive some of my past and looking forward to the cruises on my bucket list. I have had my eye on the MSC Seaside for quite some time and watching your video sealed the deal. I love the layout of your cabin -- couldn't tell if it was #10075? Were you able to get the RCI equivalent status -- I think it's a one time deal? Seaside is calling my name!

Have a question: Is there really that much difference between Jamie’s and Giovanni’s? We like Giovanni’s but often people give less than favorable reviews of Jamie’s. We’ve done both multiple times, and you can’t miss with either. Jamie’s is more casual dining, the dessert plank there is fabulous! 😁 For desserts, Jamie’s edges out Giovanni’s, to me. For main course, I’d give the edge to Giovanni’s.

Thank you for the kind words. Nice to see you browsed all photos and videos, there are lots. Yes the Seaside cabin was 10075. We did status match but I cannot remember if I matched Royal or NCL. But yes I think status match is a one time deal.

coldflame Posted May 29, 2021 #75 Share Posted May 29, 2021 Well, the true food of Royal is so-so. We've dined at least twice in each other premium dining venues and at least 3 times at 150 Park and chops. The food has been good, but nothing to write home about. In terms of food, just in my kids, wife and mine's opinion the food in DCL is generally much better than RCL, even the unpaid/included in fare one. Food at the MDRs in Royal (Oasis and Freedom) is mediocre across the board. Norwegian MDR/included food is much, much better. If you're into good eats in Mega cruise ships (and assuming that was your only criteria for choosing): 1. DCL 2. NCL 3. RCL
