The ballroom doors are open but there is no activity,,, yet @BirdTravelsThank you for doing this. We aren't on until the end of August and we know a lot can/will change by then, but this will help us set our expectations. We haven't seen anything on B2B procedures yet. If you come across them, we would appreciate it if you can post them. Tom & Donna

I just booked two days ago and 1:30 was the only slot available at that time. Our flight comes in around noon so it works out great!

Anything that looks like a dress rehearsal or are they just going to wing it? Nope. The hotel staff said that the folks from Royal are not scheduled to show up until 10:30. All is quiet. Ballroom is empty except for some balloons I got a reminder from the Royal App saying don’t forget to show up for the cruise. 8:20 am British Colonial Hilton

Today, for the first cruise, the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is hosting a “Party in the Backyard” with live music, cold Kaliks, drill teams from the Martine Academy, and Junkanoo performers. Something to do while waiting for clearance.

sellwingri Posted June 12, 2021 #60 Share Posted June 12, 2021 I’m sailing next week and am excited that we got 12pm check in. We’re staying at Warwick Paradise Island which is 10 minutes from British Colonial Hilton. It’s great that we won’t have to ask for late check out. Dat Cruisin Couple Posted June 12, 2021 #61 Share Posted June 12, 2021 This is going to be the MOST documented cruise in the HISTORY of cruises. Titanic, you had a good run, but we gotta get sailing!!! 11

mo&fran Posted June 12, 2021 #64 Share Posted June 12, 2021 WE will be on AOS nest week. Now we have to have a PCR test before arriving, despite having been vaccinated. Got one scheduled for Monday. Fingers crossed for no false positives. WE do fly in the day of, everything was booked through Royal, including transfers.

Rare BirdTravels Posted June 12, 2021 Author #67 Share Posted June 12, 2021 Unfortunately, the changes in testing protocols are the result of COVID cases on MCS and Celebrity this week. The rapid test for this week’s cruise will be a mess. Supposedly each passenger got a unique code to register and test. We’re supposed to get results via email which automatically updates our seapass to “cleared to sail”.

Interesting, as the RC FAQ (which seems to be updated by the minute) said the PCR test didn't start until June 19. The June 12 would just take a rapid test at the terminal Edited June 12, 2021 by smokeybandit
