I don't think they ever said what kind of volunteers they'll use.

Great point! Get your base relied up and then pick.....

Seems rather strange over a week has passed and I can't find nowhere any one was selects.

Safe travels

I don't think anyone on CC mentioned being on a test cruise on Freedom, Serenade, Odyssey or any other ship, so not so strange.

Just got a message in from my TA. They're doing the test sailings with TAs only.

I wonder why they created a Facebook group, a website where they collected 350,000 people volunteering to cruise, then not select anyone.

And if you try to ask that question on that page the mods won't post it.

Mainly to stop all the unneeded phone calls.

Perhaps they selected passengers who they felt wouldn't be upset to play Covid positive and have to spend the day in their cabin. I believe the idea of the test cruises is to test out their procedures... so likely some passengers would have to play sick... not sure they would even have entertainment or have all the venues available. So perhaps they reconsidered having potential future customers from experiencing something that might not be as fun as anticipated. I have no first hand knowledge.. but I understand from another test cruise that there was someone from the CDC onboard. Likely they wanted to observe how they handle covid cases...testing etc.

Been over a week and cannot find anywhere, anyone who was selected.

Last week RCCL said they were choosing volunteers.

I think they lie!

what do you mean find them?  where?  Perhaps they're not on cruise critic or facebook groups.
