Nose forward if you can trust this app.

That's not the usual postion, but cool.

Will try and get a bow pic from Grills

I noticed that when she pulled in this morning and was looking forward to seeing her turn, guess we'll get the turn on the way out!

According to our roll call, Marc Walker is departing Allure today. Guess we get a new CD😱

Bing Bong....

I know he had been extended and according to his post on his FB page he is onboard until Dec 5 and then was extended again til Dec 19.  He was originally supposed to leave a week ago.  So, you'll see him.

If I were not up and out in deck for sunrise I would be so annoyed with myself. That is my favorite time of day on a ship.

It is nice. Maybe with our cabin location I can pop over to rock wall balcony to enjoy the sunrises

Based on the roll call post, it was unexpected. Guess I'll know soon enough.

You do have a great location proximal to that balcony. How did you end up deciding on these cabins?

He posted on Sept 30 and then updated it to say Dec 19th.  He never said why.  Not sure who his replacement was supposed to be.

OK, maybe I should explain the title.

Word on social media is that the entertainment staff and Casino staff have some covid positives.

Apparently almost all the shows have been cancelled this week. No idea about what we will see, but not expecting much.

Found of FB a couple days ago. since confirmed across multiple sources

For anyone with an upcoming Allure of the Seas cruise planned… I want to give you a heads up. One I certainly would have taken into consideration myself. If the circumstances had been known.  Love RC so let me get that out of the way. But someone needs to make this right for everyone on board.

First, Mama Mia has been canceled the entire week due to “technical difficulties”. Day one we were given that info. After hundreds of people inquired as to why they couldn’t book the show on their planners.

For those with the bucket list adventure….The zip line is not and will not be working due to “technical difficulties”.

After sitting at the aqua show tonight for a showing for “everyone” for about 40 mins (to be sure to get a good seat) we were told about 5-10 mins after show time that it was canceled. The Aqua show as of today (day 4) is canceled the remainder of the trip, due to….TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES.

The cherry you ask????
The ice show is also canceled for the remainder of the trip. For you guessed it….. technical difficulties.
Three cabins…$10,000 (ish) 3 of the guests on their first ever cruise.

Literally feeling like we are on some type of “test cruise” and wondering on what planet, this is okay. I completely understand things happen. But lots of things happening, something needs to be done. 2135 guests on board. And maybe not all of them care. I do!
I bragged and bragged about RC. Got additional family to come with us. That have never cruised before. And here we are, disappointment after disappointment.
Did I also mention this was for a once in a lifetime 60th birthday trip???? Bummed is an understatement.

I’ll let you know if they do anything to make it right.

Bummer

If I am reading this right, you are saying that these things are cancelled while you are on the ship but the date says it is 2 days before you set sail.

No, John stated that is from someone who was aboard and posting information for last week,  which was the week before his cruise that is beginning today.

I like to try different cabins and they were available 😁

The proximity to the rock wall was a big plus

In life, there is only "TOO MUCH ABBA" if there is ANY ABBA. (Not a fan) But I will endure because my wife absolutely loves this show. I will just have to check in my man card at the door and hope to get it back when we leave the theater.

Take a chance.  🤣

We sailed Allure on Sept 20-27.  Had a wonderful cruise with no problems with the shows.  There were 2400 passengers on board.  We enjoyed the newly formatted muster drill.  It's a 2 minute presentation with an employee showing how to put on life jacket....hoping they will keep that forever.  Mama Mia was amazing with many talented dancers.  All of the staff were very friendly and helpful,  I know they're glad to be back.  The food in the Windjammer was ok.  The dining room food was good, but not what we are used to on Royal Caribbean ships.  Another opinion is I think they've overpriced their drink packages.  This cruise was our first as Diamond therefore we took advantage of the 4 free drinks per day and then 1/2 price after that.

We were in the casino every day on the cruise.  There was a passenger at our table that kept coughing and coughing and coughing.  I was discouraged that the pit boss did not ask him to leave.  Eventually all of us at that table left due to the fear that he might have Covid.

Please ask many any other questions, and I hope your cruise this week is enjoyable even though it sounds like most of the entertainment has been cancelled.
