Not sure how often we can visit, but I'll try

Hope you get a chance to join me for breakfast in CK one morning. My fam doesn't eat too early and I like to get my Eggs Benedict around 7:30. 🙂 We're getting to drive to Orlando so we'll see you guys on board!

My all-time favorite - hope you get to see it! We are so excited for our Nov cruises, following along to know what to expect in this new cruise environment. Have fun 🤩

We only spent maybe 20 minutes in it, hated it!  Not enough ABBA, too slow with the action.  Got up and left.  I was disappointed, but I never saw the movie.  Our fave ABBA show is Abbacadabra, we loved that.

I'll try and document how many times I screw up.  Good thing is I can go down to BW via the Rock Wall steps when I need to.

Let us know if it is before or after alcohol too. 😁 You know, for statistics.

Abbacadabra is great. I've seen them twice on RCI. I think they do ABBA better than ABBA does.

We are currently on Allure and having a great time despite cancelled shows.  On Day 1 we were told there would be no Mamma Mia due to technical difficulties.  We were lucky to see the Ice Show (best I’ve seen) before they cancelled the remaining shows.

The Aqua-Show performers did a short demonstration at the Top Tier Party on Day 2.  Yesterday afternoon, the Aqua-Show men were out practicing so we watched for 30 minutes or so while the band Temperature set up and practiced for a full show at the Aqua-Theatre last night.  They are a great band and the show last was awesome!

The food everywhere on the ship is excellent!  We have the Dining Package and tonight will be our 3rd dinner at 150 Central Park!  Yum!

There was a Love & Marriage Show (we saw it re-played on TV - funny) but we didn’t go.  The 70’s Party (which we saw on TV) was awful - painful to watch.  Definitely singers and dancers missing.

Everyone has been following the Covid rules and we’ve never felt unsafe, even with reports of Covid on the ship.  We would definitely stay on if I didn’t have to go to work on Monday.

We love the ship with reduced capacity and booked a Harmony cruise for November in hopes that it will be as good as this has been.

Hope you all have a wonderful cruise and enjoy Allure as much as we have!

The Eggs Benedict in the Allure MDR this week were the best I’ve had on a ship!

We're very much looking forward to this cruise and will find plenty to do even if it's just Casino and Cocktails. Great to get back on the seas. Our boarding isn't until 3 pm and we're driving up from Port Saint Lucie so leaving here around Noon tomorrow....YES!!!!

How many people are on this cruise? We were on the Odyssey a couple of weeks ago and there was 1008 people. We are on the allure on the 10th. Just curious how the occupancy is running on this ship.

No idea yet, should know by Monday

John - Question about the app - which I haven't downloaded yet for November cruises on Anthem.  Will my husband have to have the app on his phone too or can I do everything needed on my phone?  Paper set sails no longer used?  Right now seems a bit complicated.  Katherine

I can see both our set sails. Just make sure they are linked in the place you check in. I did it from website

We both like early breakfast. Laura used to turn the lights on in the SL pre Covid. Coffee and crochet is how she spent her mornings

In life, there is only "TOO MUCH ABBA" if there is ANY ABBA. (Not a fan) But I will endure because my wife absolutely loves this show. I will just have to check in my man card at the door and hope to get it back when we leave the theater.

I forgot to say why I despise deck 7.

For those not in the 'know', there is no way to go from port to starboard at the aft elevator bank.

The Boardwalk sign is in that location. So if you are on the wrong side of the ship, you have to walk the stairs up or down, cross over, and go back up or down. It's a Royal PIA

I'll try and document how many times I screw up.  Good thing is I can go down to BW via the Rock Wall steps when I need to. Plus it's convenient to the Aqua Theater balcony, so that's a plus😁

We avoid deck 7 for the same reason ..... I just know I would screw it up a lot.

We enjoyed the show in August. The finale is very good.

Hope the crew is recovering..

This is our 2020 Prime Tier cruise. Had to pay about $60 to upgrade from a std interior.

Looking forward to novelty of being by rockwall balcony. We stayed in a deck 12 balcony on Freedom after they added the cabins up there. Laura spent a lot of time enjoying the deck above the solarium. Very convenient from our cabin

We had to miss the finale on our 2020 TA. Laura is still a little upset because we were front and center for rest of show. Ended up watching from back row to beat the exit crowds

Good deal !

My son had the similar widow cabin in Central Park, right above Chops. He liked it, had a nice padded seat in front of the window. Plus he could smell the steaks from below.

Looking forward to following your trip John. Hope all is better with the entertainment. I saw a video that Marc Walker posted tonight of the aqua show, so that’s happening.  Traded emails with our genie today and everything sounds like it’s improving quickly. Hope you get to see Mama Mia!  Don’t tear that ship up before I get there on the 17th!

According to the post, it's an Aqua Party, not the show.

So, if someone feels that way about Cats on Oasis, and will endure for her husband, is there such a thing as a woman card? Asking for a friend.

Yep. Hand in your gender specific / neutral / binary card. Whatever card you carry. My wife often hands in her woman card when I make her go to a new Marvel Movie. She keeps on reminding me that I'm a geek. (But I did see her cry at the end of Endgame.... I seen it. And I will not allow her forget that)

Aww, I’m a Marvel geek too! She should just convert and be done with it.  😁  Especially since Tony Stark made her cry. 👍🏼
