So excited for this review. i hope everything goes smoothly. I really want to go on Allure. Will you be trying any of new Royal cocktails? If so I'd like your recommendations.

I may try a couple😉

But typically I stick to Newcastle and Cape Codder's

Black Widow is an origin story. Takes place before End Game.

Ha that shows you just how interested I am in the series!  But someone told me that was in this movie, I guess it is retro to the end game.

Trying to follow along, but CC is getting old having to clear data before going to every page in a thread before you can post.

Have a great cruise and hopefully the shows will go off without a hitch.

OK, maybe I should explain the title.

Word on social media is that the entertainment staff and Casino staff have some covid positives.

Apparently almost all the shows have been cancelled this week. No idea about what we will see, but not expecting much.

Found of FB a couple days ago. since confirmed across multiple sources

For anyone with an upcoming Allure of the Seas cruise planned… I want to give you a heads up. One I certainly would have taken into consideration myself. If the circumstances had been known.  Love RC so let me get that out of the way. But someone needs to make this right for everyone on board.

First, Mama Mia has been canceled the entire week due to “technical difficulties”. Day one we were given that info. After hundreds of people inquired as to why they couldn’t book the show on their planners.

For those with the bucket list adventure….The zip line is not and will not be working due to “technical difficulties”.

After sitting at the aqua show tonight for a showing for “everyone” for about 40 mins (to be sure to get a good seat) we were told about 5-10 mins after show time that it was canceled. The Aqua show as of today (day 4) is canceled the remainder of the trip, due to….TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES.

The cherry you ask????
The ice show is also canceled for the remainder of the trip. For you guessed it….. technical difficulties.
Three cabins…$10,000 (ish) 3 of the guests on their first ever cruise.

Literally feeling like we are on some type of “test cruise” and wondering on what planet, this is okay. I completely understand things happen. But lots of things happening, something needs to be done. 2135 guests on board. And maybe not all of them care. I do!
I bragged and bragged about RC. Got additional family to come with us. That have never cruised before. And here we are, disappointment after disappointment.
Did I also mention this was for a once in a lifetime 60th birthday trip???? Bummed is an understatement.

I’ll let you know if they do anything to make it right.

Bummer

very sorry to hear that! We saw the shows a couple weeks ago. Some people went back and saw Mamma Mia twice. I hope the staff have mild cases. Hard on everyone.

Tom and I are also just off Allure for a B2B last week. We really enjoyed Mamma Mia!! As a matter of fact, Donna (the mother) was so into her role when singing the break-up with Sam song, that I even teared up!! IMO, all of the actors were excellent, so really hope you get to see it! We'll be back on Allure on November 8th with another couple and would go see it again! Much better than Cats John!! (Of course, that's not hard to do!) Have a safe, happy and very enjoyable cruise!! Bon Voyage!! The bartenders were very attentive and "generous"!! Cheers!!

Completely agree. The woman playing Donna was great. That song was powerful. I wasn’t tearing up though…must have been allergies.

Wasn't expecting this

We used to get these when we tested twice a week to visit Laura's brother in an Ocala nursing home.

haha 😄 I get those each time too. The one that surprised me was an onboard test taken to do a b2b that got reported to the health department. I figured international waters would not be reported but it was.

I'll be obsessively watching Allure of the Seas on the MarineTraffic app next week because I know it's the last voyage before we get on it. Also obsessively checking the status of our RoyalUps to see if any one of them stays pending while the others go expired.

Hope you all have a WONDERFUL cruise starting tomorrow! Can't wait to hear the latest and greatest about Allure.

We loved Mama Mia on Allure! We would have seen it twice, but we just couldn’t fit it into our schedule with everything else we wanted to see and do.

On my way to search Abbacadabra and see if they will be playing anywhere near us. We’ve seen a number of excellent Abba tribute groups, but never them. About time to remedy that if possible. 😎

Sunrise, or sunset. Hard to tell on the ocean. Easy to tell when I post from the Space Coast.
