Rare scubacruiserx2 Posted November 6, 2021 #10 Share Posted November 6, 2021 After a couple of days of much needed rain we expect to have clear skies for the sail away today . And with high of about 75 F and a low around 60 F , we feel like we have returned to a degree of normalcy here in South Florida for the cruising industry . ger_77 Posted November 6, 2021 #11 Share Posted November 6, 2021 Isn't it wonderful opening the FLL webcam and seeing it filled with ships? I'm setting my alarm so I don't miss sail-away! Smooth Sailing!

Happily@Sea Posted November 6, 2021 #13 Share Posted November 6, 2021 Thanks, Kathi. I WON'T be here early - with the UGLY Edge blocking the view of the BHB, there is no reason to waste my time watching that. Hopefully, it will leave on time. 😄

St Pete Cruiser Posted November 6, 2021 #19 Share Posted November 6, 2021 A Sailaway Party! I'm on Ft Lauderdale, but no sounds so far. Is Port Everglades better for sound?

Sounds like someone was refused boarding one of the ships because they didn't have a vaccine card!

It's VHF and not "port sounds". Yesterday when the Rotterdam sailed, the port sounds were turned on as the ship was sailing and was a separate channel that VHF. Of course, I may be totally wrong as to the tech involved.
