Would you pay $21,348 for a 5 night cruise to Bermuda?

When I look at that cruise on another website...it shows only an owners suite and some grand suites available.....so....if its close to sold out, they have no reason to discount a close in sailing.

Keep in mind that it is also "Labor Day" time so the prices will be reflected as such.

Come to Las Vegas.  This is the most expensive suite in Vegas although anyone who stays in that room is a big roller and is comped

"The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is taking the concept of luxe travel to a whole different level. Its new Damien-Hirst-designed Empathy Suite costs $100,000 a night. The room is the most expensive in America, beating out one at The Mark hotel, which previously held the accolade at $75,000 a night"

Too hot to go outside so I’m fooling around on the RCL website and Cruisecritic.  Just for kicks, I checked to see the price for a 2 BR Grand Suite (for two adults, two kids) on the August 27th Adventure of the Seas five night cruise to Bermuda from Cape Liberty.  It was $21,348.

I’m sure it’s a nice big room and ok it’s got two bathrooms, but $21,348?  I understand inflationary pressures and I get that it usually pays to book ahead,  but really?  $21,348 for 5 nights?  From a business perspective, I really don’t get the price algorithms.

The amount of RCL cruise price fluctuation blows my mind.  I want say I looked at the same room two weeks ago and it was half the price.

Good grief, what a bunch of cheapskates!  Would somebody please just buy this damned cruise so RCCL can turn a profit this quarter?

Heard at the company’s 2022 Q3 earnings report:

“Despite previously issued guidance projecting a quarterly loss, due to a surprise and wholly unexpected 20 thousand plus booking on a two decade plus ship for only a five night sailing, combined with understaffed ships fleet-wide, we are pleased to announce a narrow earnings beat both on the top & bottom line.”

Nope, nada, No, ain't no way.  I could take 4-5 cruises staying in an inside room for the price of this trip.

I could do 6-8  (7 nights) all included on celebrity concierge or aqua for that price.
