My very first cruise departed from Canada Place on July 1, 2001.  I  have fond memories of Canadians out and about in Vancouver celebrating the holiday.  🇨🇦

Our Declaration was supposed to have been published (sent to the king?) on 1 July, but they were still ironing out some fine points, so it was delayed.
