ms Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 26 from 5:45 am to 4:00 pm, and she is leaving on a 7 day Chartered “The Big Easy” Western Caribbean.

 

 

 

Also in port is Adventure of the Seas at pier 18 (5:30 am – 4:00 pm)

It's a charter with some awesome acts...If I had known of this cruise before a couple of days ago, I'd be on it!!

No blocker in front of NA. I've been to New Orleans several times, so would not be looking for a cruise to there.

It has been a long time since a HAL ship went to Niew Orleans.  I believe the last HAL ship to be in New Orleans was the old Nieuw Amsterdam and that was back in 1997. I will not be here at Sail Away as I have a commitment at that time.

I will not be here either....traveling for a visit with my dad....poor man had a heart attack 3 weeks ago and now has shingles!!

Our first cruise was on the old Noordam out of NOLA. It was in 1994, but sailing down the Mississippi is really nice.
