Dorh Posted February 16 #1 Share Posted February 16 We are leaving this month from Bayonne on Anthem. Can we bring a case of water and check it? What size bottles and amount are we permitted? TIA

cruisegirl1 Posted February 16 #3 Share Posted February 16 You can't bring a whole case on board. See the link in the above post for limits. Whatever you want to bring, you must carry on. M

Rare moposh Posted February 16 #5 Share Posted February 16 I've seen someone bring a whole case of water on board. You do have to carry it on.
SoloAlaska Posted February 16 #6 Share Posted February 16 Depends on the size of the case. My preferred water comes in a case of 12 at 500ml each which would be within the limit.
ukestrummer Posted February 16 #7 Share Posted February 16 Don't they SELL case of water on ship for your cabin anymore?
Mum2Mercury Posted February 16 #8 Share Posted February 16 You're allowed to bring 12 bottles. Can't remember the size. A practical person will bring a couple empties (or a refillable bottle) and refill them with ship's water, which is just as purified as the bottled stuff. 1

livetravelcruise07 Posted February 17 #11 Share Posted February 17 We either bring on the large sized water bottles that come in a pack of 6 or a 12 pack of normal sized water bottles. Yes, you have to carry them on your own, but we don't mind it 🙂
jaybird69 Posted February 17 #12 Share Posted February 17 I always bring a case of water on. I put the case in an extra large zip lock bag then pack it into a duffle bag and check it in. It always shows up at my cabin.
happy cruzer Posted March 25 #13 Share Posted March 25 The FAQ just says bottle. Does that mean plastic bottles are OK? Thanks.

Could you please remind me where to refill the bottles ?. I like the idea more than buying plastic bottles (and further contributing to additional waste). What I did not like at the MSC ships however is that not everyone would use refill stations carefully. I mean they would just put their water containers on the machine touching it after drinking their water directly from the containers. Is at Royal ships similar? shipgeeks Posted March 25 #18 Share Posted March 25 There are signs on the dispensers saying you should not put your bottle directly on them. Glasses of water are aways available for pouring into personal bottles. Of course, there might always be someone who disregards that. We fill ours from our bathroom taps, as well as in the WJ.
Mum2Mercury Posted March 25 #19 Share Posted March 25 We fill bottles bottles from one of these sources: - cups in the Windjammer. - cups in Promenade Cafe. - cups in Park Cafe. I recommend bringing a wide-mouth bottle to make this easier. 1

If its a long cruise with long days ashore I buy the Evian in the planner. 12 litres waiting in our cabin, along with the Diamond water. Great for excursions and at night .
