Favorite Specialty Cocktails?

We board in a day and can’t wait! I enjoy trying new cocktails here and there to treat myself while on the voyage. What  memorable drinks have you had on HAL?

Non-alcoholic drinker here.  I have concocted, with the help of a bartender, what I call the Sassy Mary.  It is a “ bright” version of the Virgin Mary.  Bright means it lights up your mouth.

I love Virgin Marys. Does the "brightness" come from citrus?

My favorite is the smoked cherry old fashioned which you can order at the Ocean Bar...also called the Rotterdam VII at the Half Moon Bar on the Rotterdam..........

No idea what it’s named, but I call it a French martini, sub in lime juice for the pineapple juice. Especially delicious during Martini Hour at the Pinnacle Bar!

Hubby likes a Woodford’s old fashioned with extra cherries. Sister likes the Dutch 150 or the 150th gin & tonic made with HAL’s gin De Lijn and fever tree tonic. 

Me, I’m happy with Prosecco or an aperol spritz.

Me too! I am going all out on Shirley Temples on my upcoming cruise, as they apparently aren't a done thing for adults in my town. 🙂

Pre Keto, go to was always a Kamikaze and a Wang Wang

Post Keto, usually a boring Vodka Soda 😮‍💨

Mango Ginger Splash is my very favourite Mocktail. Some ships do not seem to have the mango puree available, but when they do this is refreshing and zesty. Tried it with pineapple and it was just so-so.

Leave in a few weeks and cant wait to try the Smoked Old Fashion.    What are other whiskey based drinks should I try ?  ( I dont care for Whiskey Sour).
