Wonder of the Seas Blocks Are In The House!

Recommended Posts

It seems to me that the Aqua Theater Suite balconies (assuming there ARE ATS on this ship) are more uniform in size than they are on the previous O class ships.  They still have some degree of reduction as they go up on the higher decks but it doesn't seem to be as significant a reduction as the other ships.  Of course, it could just be a perspective thing too.

This is basically what has been stated above, I just wonder if this means construction delays or China/Asia deployment delays or both.

I would say both.who knows where the US and China will be in a year.

The capacity of Wonder is not needed at all at this stage, hence RCL will try to delay the delivery as much as possible and we will for sure not see Wonder be deployed in North America before. It will head straight to Asia and likely they will try to delay the delivery by 6 to 12 months.

@Lloyd555 - Those are some interesting cut-outs (triangular shapes) on that front block. Are those to be permanent? I am sure it will look great when it's all done but, it's definitely different from the sisters. For now they are keeping it interesting and keeping some of us who like to follow ship construction guessing on things.

The three loft suites blocks; are they just decks 16 to 18, right now anyhow?

This was asked in FB group  too. 😊

They consist of decks 15 to 18 right now.

The blocks' deck 15 will fill in (some of) the gap seen in.image below.

Lloyd - Any idea as to what these triangular openings / cutouts are?

Could be the cruise ship version of crop circles. 😋

Or just decoration that may complement the potential display or screen that I think may go in the unfinished square area.

Hopefully the latter and something with an unobstructed view given that those should be "premium" suites. :classic_biggrin:

Given that the Odyssey is now launching spring 2021, there is no way the Wonder will as well (which it was scheduled to)

I would guess it's been pushed back a year along with all of Royal's other builds
