There seem to be roumers flying round FB that the 1st cruise has just been cancelled due to "Bad Weather" delaying construction

Not surprised.  The messed up dates in the "future cruises" section of the website was a red flag.

damn, always feel bad for when someone's cruise gets cancelled. It's always risky booking a cruise right after an extensive drydock.

It sucks. Oh well, gonna have to cancel my PTO, and find a date in April or May.

Exactly.  Which is why I booked a B2B!  

 

I knew when booking 2/24 there was a distinct possibility of this occurring so I booked 3/1 as well.  

 

Here's hoping 3/1 isn't impacted too!

Can you swap your B2B to the cruise following the 3/1?  Either way, fingers crossed 3/1 is a Go!

my daughter is going to be devastated!  we had no idea this ship was even getting a refurb when we booked it.  now to scramble and think about if we can plan another vacation this close to the date....ugh.

I am so sorry! I completely understand. There is an Allure sailing on the 17th. Not sure about prices etc, but maybe you can use the future cruise credit towards that?

Sold out.  Looks like this change is going to cost me about $400 in airfare and hotel differences.  They are offering $200.

the future credit isn't going to be available until Feb 27th!  so that doesn't even help right now.  i appreciate it for the future, but for now we all have off the week of the 24th. aw man, this sucks.

looks like there are rooms on adventure that sails out of fort lauderdale on 2/24....i would book it and then demand them to give me the 50% once i get the credit on that...so you could still use your airfare and time off

Actually, Adventure sails on the 16th.. for 8 nights.

Seems about right to me.... as my earlier post stated it doesn’t end up being good for the customers at all in the end.  About on par for what we were offered.

I'm missing something then.  I could do that ship, and wouldn't mind it at all... but this is all I am finding...
