Dreams42Day Posted February 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Putting aside the basic things that need to be packed for a cruise...what one item do you always try to bring? Something that you have found to be very useful while at sea?
freestyling Posted February 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2018 A battery operated hand held Coleman fan. Perfect when getting hot standing in lines, on tender, buses, airplane etc. Always bring an extra pair of batteries as well!
bigwally Posted February 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Universal remote for the cabin TV. It allows me to access functions typically not available on the cabin remote, like the input button so I can hook up my laptop (providing the inputs are not locked out on the TV itself). Plus you have a more familiar (ours is also back-lit) remote to use when you're watching TV at night with the cabin lights off.

bigwally Posted February 20, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Ditto :D:') To me a corkscrew only counts as a basic thing. I can't imagine being on vacation and not having one with me. But then we always have a wine and (locally sourced) cheese night in our hotel room while on land, and always have our 2 cabin bottles of wine to open while on a cruise.
