Got engaged on Rhapsody in 2000 and honeymooned on Rhapsody in 2001 for 25 nights (B2B Hawaii and Panama Canal Cruises).

 

We’re hoping Rhapsody is still in the fleet in September 2021 for a 20th anniversary cruise[emoji16]

Engaged and married on land, but we honeymooned at sea! It was before we discovered our love for Royal, however, so it was on Carnival Dream. We brought Son #1 on his first cruise last year at 18 months old. Next year we'll be on Adventure with him and Son #2 who will be about 18 months at that time. Cruises mean a lot to us!

We honeymooned in the 14th voyage of the Monarch of the seas. 25 years later we celebrated on the Jewel of the Seas and talked to the beverage manager who was our sommelier in the dining room.

We had our honeymoon aboard the Oasis in March of last year. Between work and wedding planning we wanted a disconnected honeymoon and a cruise was the best way to do it.

 

For those who cruised for honeymoons before the early 2000s what was the experience like? Anything special? We were given a bottle of champagne and rose petals in our suite from Royal on the third night; which was a great surprise.
