We are joining the Sapphire on 18th May.  We are in a full suite whereas my Sister and B-I-L are in a standard balcony cabin.  Does anyone know if they can join us in cc dining or not?  Many thanks for any information.  If not the Anytime will be fine too.

Unfortunately they cannot.  Only those passengers booked in suites and club class are able to dine there.

Doubtful they will be able to join you in Club Class.

Per above, they are very firm about allowing only those in full suites and club class mini-suites to have meals in CC Dining.  You can join them in anytime if you wish.

We pick a couple of nights to book specialty restaurants with our friends and often have lunch (either in port or at the buffet) with them on Port days.   :classic_wink:

It is an absolute not. They have a clip board and check to see if you PAID for club class. After one or two nights they know you and use your name. If everyone brought a guest then Club class would have the same lines and waits as anytime. It is a small section and in order to keep it so that there is no wait for a table they need to keep it for those that booked that class of cabin.

We've sailed with Club Class.   We love the true anytime dining without a wait.   However, we've never been able to share a table.   Because there are so few folks with club class the odds of walking the same time as someone else who wants to share.  Plus as others pointed out, you can't dine with friends and family who are staying in lower class cabin unless you go to regular anytime dining.

Just a touch off topic (sorry). If sailing in a suite, I believe you get club class. However, I don't see an option to select it on my personaliser. I have traditional or anytime. Is this  normal? Should I just select anytime and show up at club class?

If you are in a full suite then you will be in club class, if you are in a mini-suite you have to select "Club Class Mini Suite" when making your reservation.

Thanks for the info - so it doesnt matter which option I select in personaliser? I thought club class was all anytime dining?

Club Class is only a portion of Anytime Dining available only to those booked in Full Suites or M1 category of Minis.

Those not booked in above-mentioned cabins will be offered, in the Personalizer, either Anytime or Traditiinal (fixed) dining.  Club Class will not be offered as an option

Rdit ... if you are in a suitr and select Anytime, you will have Club Class

That's my confusion. I AM in a full suite but I have no option for club class - only traditional or anytime show up in personaliser. So not sure what I'm meant to select.

Pick "Anytime" and you will be fine.  The first time you walk into the Club Class dining room, you will be greeted and asked your cabin number.  When the headwaiter sees that you are in a suite, he will give you a big welcoming grin and take you to a table.  As somebody else has posted, when you enter the second time, you will be recognized and immediately escorted to a table.

We are in a full suite on our next cruise too, on your reservation confirmation that they email you should see a notation under "comments" that you are in Club Class Dining.

We have cruised Celebrity for many years but have started looking at and booking other lines because Celebrity prices are starting to be just too high for us.

Us too. We went on Grand Princess last year and decided to book another Princess for this year. We’re definitely considering alternatives and more interesting itineraries.

Per above .... You need to select Anytime ... and just go to club class dining.

Actually, CC Dining is basically Anytime ... just no waits and great service.

Enjoy!  :classic_cool:

There are pro's and con's. I've had it several times. The service is excellent and walking in without a line or wait is really nice. The part I didn't like was it's lack of separation from the MDR. If you got a table that borders the MDR the noise is significant. There is only a rope draped between the dining rooms so there is no real separation. People from the main dining room constantly walk thru the CC one to exit but if anyone in CC sees that they do tell them to exit their own dining roomthe way they entered.  It would be much better if there was a full curtain or wall to divide the CC from the Main dining room.

It bothers you that people who don’t have club class dining can see you?

The noise of the gigantic dining room shatters the quiet and serenity of the smaller club class section. It is noisy to hear dishes and laughing and loud conversations from 600 passengers when you're in a section with maybe 40 other passengers. Ambiance is part of the experience. Who cares what anyone sees.

We love Club Class for all of the reasons others have posted...BUT, have set ourselves a price differential limit of about $100/day.    We looked at one 10 day cruise last year where Club Class mini's were about $2700 more than regular mini's right next door - outrageous and we won't support that kind of pricing.

We've always had to pay more for the location of the mini's that are now M1 so it's no "sticker shock" to us.  Most is the next catagory down are at best next door to the worst MI locations (those few that are sell very quickly) others are not real close to the mid-ship elevator.  '

For us getting CC Dining included in what we would have paid to book anyway is a nice perk.  :classic_cool:

We had Club Class once when we took an upsell to a suite. It was nice--especially the exceptional service--but I missed having traditional dining because we ended up most nights at a table for two. The way around this is to make friends with others in Club Class and show up at the same time. But be prepared to wait if you want a table for six or eight. There aren't many of them.

On another cruise, we had a mother-daughter pair at our table in traditional dining. They were in a full suite, but they preferred eating with us and the other couple rather than going to Club Class and eating by themselves.

CC is limited to full suite and CC mini-suite passengers. Your relatives who are not in those type cabins cannot join you in CC.

Thank you everyone for your responses.  I figured that would be the case and it is completely understandable.  Just wanted to know the rules ahead of time.  As I said, anytime will be fine too.  It is always the Sabatini's breakfast that is a main dining highlight for us.  I hope that is still in place.

We had a table for 2 every night along the wall. I sat on the long banquette so I could see everyone and watch our head waiter,  Fernando, prepare his special extras.

It didn't matter at which of those tables we were put, because we got to know everyone along the wall and we all chatted every night.

It was like actually belonging to a private club where you know all of the members and the staff knows you by name.

Being able to come back from a long day on shore, do a quick clean up and then walk into the dining room at various times and be seated quickly was why I booked Club Class.

The ambience, service and surprise extra choices were a bonus.
