dubldeck Posted May 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2019 My wife likes a specific salad dressing and I am wondering if she will be able to bring an unopened bottle (factory sealed) on board with us. We will be on Ovation of the Seas next month. Thanks in advance
Clarea Posted May 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2019 Depends on the security people. you will probably be OK, but you never know if you will get a zealous agent.

As someone that has lost almost 70 pounds I am always looking for good, but healthy dressings cause most are horrendous for you.😋

Sprinkle a little on the kale and the rest never seems gets wasted for some reason.
sellwingri Posted May 19, 2019 #14 Share Posted May 19, 2019 My husband brings hot sauce on all our cruises. He then looks at the menus before dinner to decide if he needs to bring it.
Rare JamesEM Posted May 20, 2019 #15 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Never had a problem bring my favorite low fat dressing on board, even had passengers ask me to pass the dressing.

CruisingUnicorn Posted May 20, 2019 #18 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Oh Walden Farms is good stuff. I use their pasta sauces too with my carba-nada pasta.
JAMESCC Posted May 20, 2019 #19 Share Posted May 20, 2019 I used that for a while when I first started losing weight but it kinda freaked me out a bit. How are they getting it to no calories, what chemical's? I switched to regular balsamic vinegar from BJs and Costco. Balsamic vinegar is actually super good for you. ChrisPGH Posted May 23, 2019 #24 Share Posted May 23, 2019 To piggyback onto this post, is it a requirement that what you bring onboard be factory sealed? I want to bring a bottle of hot sauce, and I'm wondering if I can bring one of the ones I already have or if I'll need to pick up a new bottle just for the cruise. Hard to predict exactly what your security person might do. However, you will likely have better luck with factory sealed containers.
