Exactly why I don’t post often I am always way too far behind and everything is old news.

It’s a full time job sometimes to keep up with this tread and it keeps expanding with new people 😁😁😁

We finally decided what to do with out horrible fenced in back yard for the pups. We tried growing new grass for years without any luck. So we are putting in artificial grass that is made for pets. We did our research and talked with the experts. So starting April 24th the installers will come out and put in the new grass.

We are excited as this will be better for the dogs and us as far as tracking in dirt and mud all the time. It's been a nightmare keeping the house clean. I am amazed how real this looks and it's so nice to walk on even with bare feet. I'll post some installation pics in a couple of weeks.

That's too funny.  I too am looking at having to do something with what's left of our backyard after the work was done last year.  The landscapers seeded but Merlin put a quick end to any that started to grow.  I actually suggested artificial turf to Vikki today and was immediately shot down.  Now debating abput resodding or fencing off half the yard and seeding and then fencing the other half off in the fall.  I have right around 1000 Sq ft to deal with.

I wonder how @Sea Dog  artificial grass will handle the dog cleanup. 💩

We  pick up after our dogs. In the case of a messy poo they say some Dawn dish soap with water and a brush will clean it right up.

Great picture to use for your screensaver.

Now the question…. Have you uploaded any of these pictures to use for the Nav boot up screen on your Highlander?  I have one of our grandkids, that greets us every time we start our Highlander. I like that personalized feature.

I didn't know that's a thing.

Owen found the fountains to be fascinating.  The fact that it shot almost as high as our room on the 35th, was crazy, in his words.

That's cool! I have never seen them from that angle!☺️

He did not play a smart game, that is for sure .Have you never heard the term Podiatric Surgeon ? I do not think he was trying to misrepresent himself but you as an MD obviously see this differently.

Lenny, I don’t agree with you often (ever), but this time you might be on to something!  😆

You contributed to the well being of the city so sure, it counts!  And it's a pretty economical way to get it out of your system too.

I remember hearing about the old days when casinos' gave away free food and rooms to lure gamblers since that's where the money was. Now, something like 30% or so of a casino's profit comes from gambling with the rest coming from rooms, food, clubs and shows!  I know a few people that go to Vegas regularly for the "experience" and never set foot in the casino. I guess that would include our very own @A&L_Ont

The first casino I went to in Pennsylvania was Sands (now Wind Creek) in Bethlehem, PA.  Must've been when they first opened as they had a promotion that if you signed up for their rewards program, you got 4 free nights at their sister property,  The Venetian in Las Vegas. Somehow we also acquired 4 free nights the MGM  Grand (probably  from gambling at The Borgota in AC as it is/was part of the MGM family of casinos). So of course, we strung both together, added another night fo $79 and spent 9 nights in Vegas for $79.

We went to KBIS at end of January for a couple of days for the company.  We spent a small fortune on food and drinks, and I think out of the 9 of us only one actually gambled in the casino. On the upside, I got a cr*p load of points on my MGM status, paying for all of the rooms and drinks and food.  😂

When DD was in Vegas, she sent me a photo of the view from their accommodation.  Amazing floor to ceiling view.  I didn’t think about balconies at the time so interesting to read balconies are rare there.

Her travelling companion is Vegan and had seen a Vegan place recommended online.  She said the food was indeed amazing but it was located in the most sketchy area they have ever been too.

We had a Romeo & Juliet balcony at Bally's one time. Low floor, the only time we've ever had one in Las Vegas. I think Bally's is torn down now. No balconies, people jump after losses. We've been many times. Bill used to have annual HazMat training and I would go out to the zoo, animal walk at the Flamingo and tour, shop and gamble during the day. Many shows, but I don't really like Cirque shows. Seigfried & Roy, Starlight Express, Penn & Teller and Spamalot were my favorites. ☺️

Ooh, Ringo, not a giant fan, but he always attracts a bunch of major stars who like playing with him. I would have frozen on the FlowRider when we were there, it was too cold for top golf without the overhead heaters!

The knights and Ringo… it is good to be Andrew

We have seen Michael McDonald a few times including on a cruise a couple of years ago , he was great , his wife was one of his backup singers . They were added recently to the rock and roll hall of fame.

BIL was very impressed with Michael McDonald.  His keyboard skills & vocals.  He has seen the Doobie Brothers perform three times this trip and said they were excellent.  He probably already knows about the Hall of Fame but I will mention it to him. Thanks

Interestingly enough I noticed that the Cosmopolitan next door has balconies on almost all their rooms. Most every other hotel doesn’t.

@A&L_Ont Knights off to a good start with 3 goals in just over 6 minutes. Not sure how Owen became a Knights Fan. Now that you let it be known you may not be able to re-enter Canada. 🤣

Originally Owen’s favourite team was the Penguins because of their goalie Marc Andre Fleury.  When Vegas picked him in the expansion draft his loyalties changed. When Vegas traded him year before last to Minnesota Owen remained loyal to Vegas as a Team, and Fleury as a person.

@dani negreanu Dani, I have a heavy heart reading and listening to the latest news from Israel.  I can only hope and pray all of Israel stays safe.  I especially think of you, DH and your family, as I do Jack's family in Israel to stay out of harm's way.

I’m confused. Why would it be a surprise that you passed your drug test?

Oh, Bonnie, we're all evening glued to the TV.

DS2 told us yesterday at the seder that they'll travel today to a long awaited by the grandsons trip to a camping site at Kibbutz Dafna (near the Lebanon border).

We said "enjoy". "take care on the roads", and see you on Saturday...

And at 3PM, the biggest amount of rockets since 2006 !!!!! was launched from Lebanon towards the north of Israel. They are safe, for the moment. Sleeping in a tent.....

They'll be cutting short their holiday and leave tomorrow instead of Saturday.

I'm pondering a sleeping pill to get me through the night...............

Dani so sorry to hear this. Keeping you, your family and Israel in my thoughts.

That’s really an Uber? Not sure if you were joking or not. Cool looking. What kind of car is it? The iPad makes me think it’s a Tesla, but I’ve never seen one like that. Do they have Ubers that you can request like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc?

Good evening, it’s been a gorgeous day in Sydney for Good Friday.  After having a nice salmon dish for tea, DH asked me to hurry up and book accommodation for our planned Queensland holiday.

After we looked online  at multiple resorts last weekend, DH decided he wanted to book the private apartments recommended by a work colleague.  I wasn’t convinced, until I read through all the reviews for the apartments and several mentioned the friendly rainbow lorikeets that visit the private balcony at sunset. Lol.  For the bird tragic like me, that sealed the deal.

So I’ve booked the Penthouse apartment.  DH is driving up and collecting me from the airport and we have a week in sunny Queensland & I’ll spare you my usual lorikeet photos until then…

Yesterday was a day trip to Cleveland. Took our daughter and grandkids along.

Started off at.

And, Caribbean egg rolls.  Sorry, but one was gone and another half eaten by the time I took the photo.  They were pretty tasty.

Spent the afternoon at the zoo.  That was my first trip to Cleveland’s zoo.  It is a fairly good size zoo, and it wasn’t crowded at all.

A few photos from there.
