Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" ​ 😁 ​day in lockdown... how was yours?)

My buyers of course dont remember my schedule and said the co signer hadnt applied yet, asked for 10 days, went into title company and told them 30. I said no if you dont close by may 30 I'm done, I'll call one of those cash buyers always hounding me to sell. Here I was ready to move, called movers, had tags on stuff not to neve, and he has been busy and didnt do anything. 

 

So I'm here in san antonio at my friends house. Its gorgeous though it's been a rainy day. We ate mexican some place good and she picked out a  movie with a Louisiana storm and hungry alligators. Lol. Seriously that's how it was advertised. Only 2 people got out alive.  Going to riverwalk tomorrow unless it rains worse. Rainy all day here and coolish. We have one more friend from 50 years ago living amelia island florida so she can come visit us both.

 

They did 2 cruises, this spring a river cruise in florida on American cruises. She doesnt live more than 100 people on her cruises. I took her in a suite once on royal and fancy suite hotel and she wasnt impressed, not her thing. They took american cruises to alaska too and loved it. 

 

They sold off the rest of their acerage but kept 2 acres and a enormous house. Some random pictures, dont want to post when we have time together but I did make it here. We have all been friends since I was about 23. She and i hiked to the bottom of the grand Canyon, she came to visit me in hawaii, we went out west camping in national parks. Hard to believe 50 years.

Double oh, no! Is anyone able to see my pictures? I posted from my Google photos online. Made collages of most pictures to cut down on size but (of course) I can see them all fine.

I was shocked when my son told me that they looked into flights for his in-laws to fly from China.  They were looking at 15k per person, round trip in economy.

It happened to me before as well when copying from google photos.  So now, if I'm on a windows PC, I use the snip-it tool and then paste in the post.

Dinner last night at Southport Gourmet and Sushi Bar.  We shared an Entree and a Sushi Roll.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also an interesting house build here as the builder built the house around this very old tree in their front yard. Zoom in to the 2 pictures and you can see how the roof edge is built  around the very large tree limb.

They do not show on my iPhone or iPad either.  On a windows PC, they just show as a link, but when you click on it, it brings up a broken link symbol.

 

I have had instances of some photos not posting from certain programs.  I found that doing a screenshot, then cropping and posting that works fine.  As an added benefit, the file size to upload is smaller.

Crab cake Benedict. Amazing.

 

 

Time to walk it off. To the beach we go.

 

 

A short 20 minute walk.

 

 

Dinner at the Salty Dog to watch my best friend Dave play.

 

 

Oysters. Very tiny and ok.

 

 

Grilled Mahi Mahi that was good but a little dry.

 

 

The gang enjoyed the music.

 

 

Another classmate who lives in the area. Lenny who is retired Navy. Worked in Trident nuclear submarines.

 

 

 

My next door neighbors who I have known for over 60 years. Steve and Mary.

 

 

All in all a good day. My one classmate that I was worried about said a few stupid things trying to push my buttons and I just rolled my eyes. He later apologized. Fair enough.

George's speech .. "The sea was angry that day my friends..." was also written at 2am the night before and Jason Alexander was given 30 minutes to memorize 2 1/2 pages of new script before shooting (and 100% nailed it). 

 

To top it all off, they needed to get approval from Titleist right before the episode in order for Kramer to be able ask if the ball George found in the whales blow hole was "a Titleist."  by name.

 

I found the story fascinating so I thought I would share with fellow Seinfeld enthusiasts.

We are up and no rain yea. Pictures will be clearer today. Still drinking coffee. She has a deer cam for when deer come into her yard and 5 bird feeders. It's kinda north of san antonio, barely past new braumfield where I've done white water. Great area. It's a vacation all the time.

You're not kidding!  We moved here 7 years ago, Two new red lights made their appearance just around my block, a new 55 and over community built around when we moved in, and the ground clearing in all directions of our town, an entire community of townhouse buildings are partially occupied while more buildings going up there, and way more ground clearing where low income housing will be going up.   I don't know where our town is going to find the room in our schools to contain the population of children who will be attending.  

Rte 9 is only a one lane road, and our other main road is only two-lane.

Kentucky Derby today 5 hour tv show to cover a two minute race 😁, went to our favorite restaurant last night observed 4 woman at the next table all staring at there phones at the same time.
