Lots of interesting things happening recently with the CDC that maybe, possibly, hopefully looks like progress???
Rare A&L_Ont Posted April 8, 2021 #12505 Share Posted April 8, 2021 (edited) Leaves are starting to open. And it’s now nice enough that the flag is back out until winter. And Lucy sauntered down from the house, while Owen is about to get on the bus. Edited April 8, 2021 by A&L_Ont

dpostman Posted April 8, 2021 #12508 Share Posted April 8, 2021 (edited) Not specifically today, but last weekend (Easter Weekend) was a busy weekend at the sugar shack. This year has been pretty poor around here for maple producers. Way too warm and some maple trees have started to bud. But we did get a pretty good run this weekend to keep us busy. Sap buckets were overflowing. This is Dexter sulking in his bed. He is pissed at me for not bringing him to collect sap. It is way too muddy at this time of year 😞 (Formatting is off) Click to see it full width. All weekend boiling for this Keeps my mind busy, and many body parts too. dp Edited April 8, 2021 by dpostman

grapau27 Posted April 8, 2021 #12510 Share Posted April 8, 2021 It is 50°F windy and drizzly rain. We have had a lazy day in the house today watching TV. TA rang and we booked another cruise for next year. Stay safe everyone. Graham.
Ourusualbeach Posted April 8, 2021 #12511 Share Posted April 8, 2021 The next level of priority groups just opened up in our area so this morning I spent just over an hour on the phone and website simultaneously and I am now booked for my first shot this coming Tuesday. It's either Pfizer or Moderna. Vikki can start applying tonight at 6pm when they open up for teachers working in areas that are Covid hotspots. Hopefully hers can get scheduled just as quick as mine.

Our cats Joebob and Gracie are indoor cats , outside can be dangerous since we have lots of bobcats and coyotes in our area.

Rare Momof3gurlz Posted April 8, 2021 #12518 Share Posted April 8, 2021 Car shopping today - ugh. One good thing is with safety protocols the salesperson no longer has to ride along on test drives, blabbering the whole time.
DaniDanielle Posted April 8, 2021 #12519 Share Posted April 8, 2021 The good part of car shopping is now they are quick to get it done. Charlie was gone less than three hours from when he left the house and brought the car here. So I say all the hours they used to keep you there was hogwash!

Rare h20skibum Posted April 8, 2021 #12521 Share Posted April 8, 2021 I haven’t done car shopping like that for quite a while. The last couple vehicles I bought, I just emailed about 10 dealers through their internet contact. Gave them the vehicle I was looking at, the minimum options and colors, and told them to give me the best price. They were all competing against one another, and it was a much easier way to get a good price.

I currently have a 2016 Cadillac SRX. Love it, but getting up there in miles and I just want something newer. Drove a 2019 Cadillac XT5 ( which replaced the SRX) and didn’t care for it at all. Today we’re driving an Audi Q5 🤞

ownedbypets Posted April 8, 2021 #12525 Share Posted April 8, 2021 When you show up at the car dealer with your 2 100+ pound, drooling, hairy dogs they want to seal the deal quickly. We have to make sure they can get in and out and have room to stretch out! 6
