I emailed my request for credit in late October and never received the credit or a reply.  Our cruise leaves this coming Sunday, so I called the number listed above last night (800 872 6779 ext. 30317), waited on hold about five minutes, and spoke with a very nice young lady who took care of the credit for our two upcoming cruises.  She said they were swamped with email requests.  Just call.  Easy Peasy.

I called and go no assistance at all.

I emailed on FRI to get our credits re-applied (I forwarded the original email and attachment doc).  We have new booking numbers now and OBC was lost.  I explained in email why I was re-submitting.  The auto-reply said expect about two weeks wait.  I am just going to leave it be for now as I know a lot of folks are cruising soon and we are not.

We are in the same situation - except I faxed mine - we don't sail until September so we can wait 🙂

I emailed a copy of my shareholder's stock and my husband's Military forms on Sunday.  I received a correct updated reply today  (Tuesday)!  Now, that is great service. Thank you Princess!🤑

We just resubmitted ours by email this time.  Faxed it previously.
Let's see how long it takes?!
We sail at the end of this month.

I was denied on 2 Carnival cruises for which I paid the publicly available rate and so far (2+ weeks) on a Princess cruising booked with FCC.

What reason(s) were you given for the denials?

If you read the Carnival board on cc, you will see a lot of people being denied the shareholder OBC. Carnival seems to be literally reading no discounted rate as any rate other than catalogue rate (which no one pays). People using rates available to everyone are being turned down as if they were getting an almost free cruise.

This the first time I have seen anyone denied.
That makes no sense, although RCI has been doing that for as long as we had their stock.

I agree 100% that it makes no sense. It is a marketing tool that costs the cruise lines very little. Instead by turning it down they only anger loyal customers. Several of the posts that mention having had the OBC turned down also say it will be their last cruise with Carnival.

The "Carnival can do no wrong Cheerleaders" say that they are just following the exact words of the Board of Director's resolution that provides for the Shareholder OBC, but it is a change from what it was before and is not how the other lines owned by Carnival Corporation are interpreting the resolution. No one should expect the additional OBC say for a cruise with a fare of $25, but to not get for pass passenger fare or any other fare generally available to the public is a foolish change in practice. No one is ever paying full catalogue fare.

12/16/21 --  I submitted my request for 3  cruises (B2Bs)  yesterday morning and these were applied within 6 hours..

That was my question!  Did you put the 3 b2b’s on one form?  Or did you have to send separate forms?

 Thanks

I skipped most of the replies to this post.

I can report that my Shareholder's Credit was posted to my account within three days (I didn't check it sooner than that) in December 2021.  I requested the credit by fax, sending in the requisite information and my Stock Brokerage statement.

I have a casino discount fare, as usual.

Even though they are part of the same corporation governed by the same set policy, you would have been denied that if sailing Carnival instead of Princess. Posters on the Carnival board have even reported being denied for past guest rates as a "disccounted" rate.😒

Thank you.  I mentioned the discount I had been given because people on this thread, on the Princess board, have been referring to the denial of Shareholders Credit for discounted fares, and I wished to point out that I was given the usual credit despite a casino discount.
