Possibly.

 I’m not sure about Alaska.

It would be to far to Mexico, the other lines seem to do it, I wonder how.
I think with the PVSA the ship has to be American built and crewed.

Perhaps US flagged and US working conditions for crew.

We will have to keep an eye on it.

Ovation home ported it Hawaii during the Northern winter would be a good money spinner for RC.

The Americans are usually pretty tight on their holidays, A week at a time.
‘They could leave work and straight to the airport for a over night flight to Honolulu.

I remember when we did a Honolulu roundtrip cruise  NCL had also ship that went to some of the Hawaiian  islands and then down to Kiribati to get around the PSVA act.

It looks a fair distance to Kiribati  how long was it ?

We did it also in 2007 on Norwegian Wind (now long gone) about  a 10 day cruise.   We had a medivac so did not make it to Kiribati.   Captain added a sail past the lava flow early evening which was very impressive.   The cruise started our love of doing trips to Hawaii.

This was in 2005 on Pride of Aloha. The ship that did the Kiribati cruise  was one of NCL's small ships. It was the Norwegian Wind and  was about a 10 day cruise, however only 3 or 4 ports in Hawaii. (At the time I was comparing both of these cruises!)

NCL is currently doing something similar with Spirit cruising between Tahiti & Hawaii. I can't imagine Royal will want to add a US flag to Ovation

Darwin port has a booking for Vision of the seas in February 2025.

Do you think it will be doing a around Australian Cruise ?

Very likely, if they don't change the ship beforehand. She is also listed in Fremantle on 2nd March 2025. I gather this will also fit with the "unnamed ship" on Sydney Ports page.

I am more interested to see Discovery Princess listed, as other schedules still show Royal Princess, which might just be a place marker for Discovery.

I think I prefer vision to enchantment, I wonder if we get it year round.

It probably will be swapped for something else , I’m still thinking Adventure of the seas would be better.

Not as good as P&O Explorer Chilli, you loved her, that is what I hear anyway.🥰

I did like the draught beer and the cougars were pleasantly aggressive .

Hope you had plenty of schooners and captured the odd cougar, lol.

If Vision did come to Australia 24/25 season it must make the Enchantment April 2025 Trans Pacific doubtful.

I can’t see 2 Vision ships in Alaska 2025.

Fremantle has vision,2 March 25 also.

Its a long way away and could be a place holder, they have changed their mind before.

Adelaide and Penneshaw have Vision also in early March 25.

I’m thinking it’s a place holder ,as vision  is smaller capacity to Radiance and enchantment by about 500 passengers.

The around Australia is a popular cruise and sells out pretty quick  Americans love it .I don’t think they would make a money decision like that.

Would voyager class be suitable for a around Australia?

We have done the bottom half on Rhapsody in 2009,  and again on Voyager  in 2013.
Agree that Vision is probably too small for the circumnavigation.

It’s definitely a place holder.

It will be interesting what Singapore gets next Christmas.we will find out in August . I’m expecting Captain Hendrik Loy and his ship.

What’s happened to Charles Teige?

He was the big captain for Asia?

Apparently did Wonder trails and hasn’t approved back on the list?
