It comes out from the wall quite far, and then swivels.

Does the TV also swivel so it can be watched from the small couch? That would be handy.
At least those arms on the couch can't go very far when they're dislodged.

We had a great table in Tamarind for dinner.  We could see that the smoking side is on the starboard side of the Lido deck.  On Koningsdam it was on the port side, I think,.  9CE33786-6BA7-4709-803E-BD8AD6AE7411.thumb.jpeg.25807a8cf16851b4fcc4f41a9d9f1fbb.jpeg

Khay visited us at dinner.  She must be the first female Cellar Master and we congratulated her.  There will be a Cellar Master dinner on the TA, date still to be finalized, we’ll definitely be there.    Just a couple of pictures from dinner, which was very good.  I must say, having the Have It All promo really makes life easy, and you don’t even have to think about whether you want a drink or not!

Darling Khay!

Thank you for that info! It really is good to know. Very helpful if I ever have to pick another cabin on a Pinnacle ship.

I’m not much of a drinker but I’m very conscious of whether I “need” to have a Perrier or an iced coffee etc.  I like having the hia and not having to think about it.  It saves me buying the wine package and let’s me try drinks I might not have.  The fish looks good.

Exactly!  We ordered  aperol spritzes before dinner which I would never have thought to do without the HIA!4D126D32-F7CD-43A7-B5F8-F68CF120223F.thumb.jpeg.906849ce84e1fa7d4d7c3b9ced44f5a4.jpeg

So happy for you both that you are finally aboard. Sorry I missed your SailAway but eye doctor stuff.
I don’t see Lincoln Center Stage listed on the Daily.  When we were on Rotterdam late Feb into March, LCS would be listed with the other Music Walk offerings, even on their days off when it would say Coming back tomorrow. We didn’t have Cantare, not on Rotterdam and not on Eurodam in December. LCS might become a hit or miss show also. Keep us posted!  And have a wonderful time!
Maureen.

@Vict0riann   Back in 2014, during the Australian Circumnavigation cruise, our wine steward was lovely  Khay, but during the cruise she was moved to the downstairs dining room, She had a birthday during the cruise, one evening we saw Captain Baijens  speak to her and shake her hand. When we mentioned this to our  waiter, he  said that the Captain always acknowleged birthdays.  When we finished dinner we went downstairs to wish her a Happy Birthday.

@Vict0riannI had not really thought about those sideways balcony cabins before but another aspect of it is the very nice second big window!

I'm excited following along with you and will especially be interested in the trans-Atlantic leg.  I just decided to book my first west to east (time changes!! 😲) TA from Ft. Lauderdale to IJmuiden (Amsterdam) in May 2024 on Zuiderdam.  It was only a little higher price than a business class flight from SFO to AMS so why not?  Much more comfortable to sleep and better food!

Thank you for posting your experience for us land locked CCers!!

Thank you so much for your posting!  Interested in all things Rotterdam.  Finally getting on the Rotterdam this fall.

No Lincoln Center kids?   Afraid HAL is letting them go.

Great pictures!  Have a safe & wonderful journey!

I'm mostly a beer & wine gal, but I think I need to make better use of HIA and try an Aperol spritz.

I got hooked on them during our many trips to Italy and when it's hot outside they are a very refreshing drink.

Club Orange for breakfast.  Less of a goldfish bowl effect with wood “walls” and no glass.  There’s a surprising number of tables, a lot of two-tops.

Thanks so much for sharing these 👍. Definitely a big difference from the Koningsdam - nicer IMO. 🙂

After breakfast we did a bit of a wander, went to check out the library and get a latte in the Crow’s Nest.  A few pictures…

Lincoln Centre Stage is still on the entrance to BB King’s

The library.  Just a few chairs scattered about. It is set up more to take your book away with you.  There are a couple of cabinets marked “Book Exchange”.
