Rare puppycanducruise Posted July 29, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good morning. Thanks for the Daily Report. It's raining. It started raining when Bertie and I were out for a walk, hope it stops soon. A wonderful collection of days. Tigers are magnificent creatures (in the wild). I like chicken wings and lasagna, although not in the same meal. Good quote. The meal, drink and wine sound wonderful too. I've never been to today's port. Prayers for everyone. Cheers for all the celebrations. Stay safe. 25
Rare rafinmd Posted July 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Thank you Rich for the Saturday Fleet Report and Daily, and thank you Vanessa, Dixie, Ann, and Tina. Tigers are magnificent from a distance and I enjoy both chicken wings and lasagna. Mickey Mouse has had a lasting impact on our culture I've been to a number of Japanese ports but not Aomon. Elizabeth was truly a legendary Queen. The Orange Chicken Skewers sound nice. My alternative is Fruit Cup Au Naturel, Chicken Consume Millefanti, and Roast Chicken Gremolata as served on MS Prinsendam July 29, 2011. Nasty thunderstorms here last night, and the Orioles game didn't end until 12:30AM. Today will be another scorcher (but not like so much of the country and world) but the heat wave should end today. StLouisCruisers Posted July 29, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good morning friends! We arrived ahead of schedule yesterday to Boston. Then after a shuttle ride to our hotel we checked in right away instead of 3 pm. Looks like airline employees stay here too. Mid afternoon we got a pizza for lunch/dinner and went to bed early. I had barely slept the night before travel day. So we are well rested now and just have to tidy up our carry on luggage and catch a ride to the ship. Hoping for an easy embarkation day. Prayers for all on the Care list. I hadn’t heard any updates on Baby Murphy and send my thoughts and prayers to her and her family. Hoping for better health for all the Daily family. Congrats to the Celebration list people. 🥂. I’m fairly certain I haven’t been to Hiva Oa or Aomori. An easier day for Lenda. Enough one finger typing on my phone. Time to get things ready for our departure from here. Have a great day everyone!! 32
RMLincoln Posted July 29, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 29, 2023 A new day to enjoy! I’ll be enjoying it inside, too hot out but the heat wave should break tomorrow here. I hope Terri and DH @Cruzin Terri got some sleep with their mini AC to recover from jet lag and colds. We’re down to 3 days until surgery. 🙏 there are no last minute hitches. The administrivia is the more difficult and uncertain part… seems that the eye surgery is the easy part. Monday we’ll wait for a call to tell us what time to be there. Blessings to all in need! May all the therapy and treatment programs be helpful. Thinking of all on our Cares list, thank you Vanessa! And hoping for good reports for those waiting to hear results. Cheers to all celebrating! 💐 Bon Voyage to Sandi and DH 🛳️ Smooth travels to all those who are away, and welcome home to @crazyforcats and all those returning. I am so sorry Terri’s return to home, that she was so ready for during the cruise, has turned into more misery! Sending comfort and strength! I hope everyone has a better day today! m— 25

1ANGELCAT Posted July 29, 2023 #9 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good cloudy and 98% humidity morning. The storms are coming this afternoon. Had some rain last night. I can’t wait for this heat to end. I’m not that fond of chicken wings but I do like lasagna made with cheese not meat. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.
Rare Crazy For Cats Posted July 29, 2023 #10 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good Morning, thanks for today's daily fleet report. We are docked and waiting to disembark. Our ride is confirmed for a 9am pickup so will wait in the cabin for a bit longer. Looking forward to seeing the kids. We could have lasagna tonight but I suspect that we will go out for dinner today. @StLouisCruisers welcome to Boston and I hope you enjoy the cruise. Hoping everyone has a good Saturday. 29

Cruzin Terri Posted July 29, 2023 #13 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good morning to all. It is cloudy and 77 degrees right now in Bluffton. However, my house reads 81. i wish we could get it down a bit more. The weather promises rain for the entire day. Thank you to Rich @richwmn for the Daily and Fleet Report. Of the three days we celebrate today, I choose National Lasagne Day. It is one of my favorite dishes. I have not prepared it in ages and certainly will not do it today. My goal right now is not to do anything to cause the house to heat up. i like the quote by QMII. I will pass on the meal and the drink. Depending on the price, I may decide on the wine. I have not been to today’s destination so I will be very happy to see other’s photos. Our trip to the Dermotology Office yesterday revealed that the incision from the MOHS surgery may have opened in one area when DH banged his head on two different occasions during our vacation. So I have to put on my nursing cap again to tend to the wound each day with a new antibiotic cream to make sure it heals and to keep away any infections. He returns to be seen in 3 weeks. Prayers for all on the Cares list—especially Baby Murphy. Cheers to all enjoying a nice cruise and celebrating an important event. Have a great day and stay safe. God Bless, Terri 31

Rare ottahand7 Posted July 29, 2023 #15 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good morning everyone. Bon Voyage @StLouisCruisers Sandi and Dennis 🍾🛳️ Thanks for the Daily and Fleet Reports @richwmn. I love wings and lasagna. Tigers are beautiful. Great quote by Queen Elizabeth, many small steps in her long reign. John would like the spicy cocktail, we probably will both enjoy today's chicken dish. I am sure the Yalumba wine would be tasty. Looking forward to more photos from Japan. Prayers for all on our Care list and the people of Ukraine. Prayers for baby Murphy. @grapau27 sympathy for Pauline on the anniversary of he father's passing. I hope she has many happy memories of him. A beautiful day in store today. I know no fishing on the docket as we ran out of bait. Unless John drives 13 miles to our local gas station/grocery store we will be on land. We went out for a bit yesterday with little success. I am afraid the bluegills that we used to catch have been caught in the winter. Most days we are the only boat on a 2.5 mile long lake. Have a nice Saturday! cat shepard Posted July 29, 2023 #17 Share Posted July 29, 2023 (edited) Thank you for today’s R & D, Rich! Yesterday was tough. Lots of crashes slowed down the trip to the airport. The arriving plane was late, so we were almost an hour late leaving Jacksonville. We made up a little time in the air, but we were still 40 minutes late. Picked up the car and then merged ourselves into Boston Friday afternoon Summer traffic - aggravated by one tunnel closure. Two hours to do a one hour trip. But we made it! And then enjoyed a wonderful family meal at a great Italian restaurant. That was our reward. And then I hit the bed. Vanessa, thank you for sharing our happenings. Today we say goodbye to my nephew. We have all collected our favorite memories and pictures, so we can celebrate his life. After the cemetery, we will reconvene at his favorite ice cream place. I don’t believe any of the youngest generation has ever visited - they are in for a treat! Not sure what I will do tonight. I need to get a workout in. I don’t think yesterday’s stress counts as a cardio workout. But it should. Prayers for all who need our support. Cheers to all who are celebrating! Get well & stay well everyone! Yalumba Shiraz Viognier The Y series 2020 Another lovely Shiraz - Viognier blending. I found a few online distributors that only ship to within their own Country. There are several that ship to me with prices starting at $9.75. Winemaker Notes Bright crimson in color. Luscious and exotic aromas and flavors of Turkish delight, red cherries and boysenberry with hints of white pepper and violets. Enjoyable velvety tannins provide a perfect complement to the cherry and chocolate finish which shows the synergy between these two varieties. Enjoy with sausages and mash, vegetable and bean chilli or guacamole, salsa and grilled corn. Edited July 29, 2023 by cat shepard 19 10

Mr. Boston Posted July 29, 2023 #19 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good morning everyone. Thank-you for today’s update, recipes and lists. Hooray for tigers, chicken wings and lasagna, yum! I love today’s quote and it’s true, little things do make a big difference sometimes. The meal suggestion sounds tasty as does the drink. I have not been to today’s port. Prayers for everyone on our prayer list. Cheers to those of you who are celebrating happy events today!

Rare 0106 Posted July 29, 2023 #21 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Happy Saturday! Summertime is all about the grill. Nothing hits the spot quite right like flame-kissed skewers do. Add in a rich, citrus-based marinade and we have juicy and tender, sticky and saucy, grilled orange chicken skewers, bursting with a tangy orange flavor in every bite. The best part? They take only about 10 minutes of actual prep work and 20 minutes to grill making it perfect for an easy, healthy weeknight dinner. You can grill these any which way you desire: over a barbecue grill, an electric grill or on a grill pan. You can even make orange chicken in the oven or an air fryer. Grilled Orange Chicken Skewers gives you the basic marinade. I would marinate the chicken overnight to impart more flavor. Sticky Orange Chicken Kebobs uses thighs instead of breasts. The sweet and spicy sauce is brushed onto the chicken halfway through the grilling process. Additional sauce can be served on the side at the table. Orange Sesame Chicken has a few more Asian ingredients. I like Grilled Orange Chicken with vegetables because I love grilled vegetables. In addition to peppers and onions feel free to add whatever is in your refrigerator. I think zucchini and mushrooms would be good. This sauce is very simple: OJ, soy and honey. Sending you peace, healing and all good wishes. May your life be good. 17

Quartzsite Cruiser Posted July 29, 2023 #23 Share Posted July 29, 2023 Good morning from central Texas. It is 76F and feels like 76F, but will be 101F later today. I'll be heading out to mow and trim the yard as soon as I finish here. Then, I'll be inside the rest of the day until we take our nightly golf cart ride. I have not seen an update on the wildfire since yesterday morning. Tigers are magnificent cats and deserve a day. I like chicken winds and lasagna, but tonight it will be chicken fajitas. Today's quote is very true, and Queen Elizabeth II was an amazing and wise lady. The meal sounds good, and we might have it in the future. We'll pass on the drink and the wine even though it has a good price. We have not been to Aomori City, Japan. Since neither Sandi @StLouisCruisers or I have been to the port, there are no pictures from either of us to repost. It has been the port of the day twice, on April 8, 2021, and December 14, 2022. Here are the links for Rich's @richwmn threads on those days. Steamboat Willie changed Walt Disney's life and began an empire. @grapau27 Graham, Pauline and you will be in our thoughts today. @Crazy For Cats Welcome home, Jake and Juan. @Cruzin Terri Terri, I'm sorry about Jim's incision opening.
