Quick maths lesson.  To calculate 44 votes from 67 people as a percentage.  44/67x100

I think it is your first and last sentences.  I don't understand the meaning.

It's not necessarily the rising prices that piss me off. It's that it's combined with cuts to service and declining food quality. We've never balked at paying for suites in the past. While it was pricey, we have limited vacation time so we strive to enjoy what we have. Now, it's getting to the point where the value isn't there. I'm not receiving the services (butler, solid food options) that I thought I was paying for when I booked 2024 sailings 1-2 years ago. I can sail in a suite in Azamara for a similar price as a Sky Suite or I can pay far less and get a suite with the all-inclusive package on HAL. I'm willing to give MSC Yacht Club a try as well. We have three future cruises scheduled with Celebrity and those will decide if we believe their suite product is remotely worth what we are shelling out to sail.

I mean the lobster for me is meh because I can get that at home but I know it's a point for others. But the reviews recently on food is a little concerning, my next cruise is a 12 night cruise so if food is not good that's going to be a long trip 😅

I confess , I really look forward to eating good food on a cruise. Anything less is a disappointment to me.

You should have added an option for “nothing” so those of us who are presently happy (having not yet sailed since the changes but have bookings) with the offering. Would give you a balance on the mood of posters but might not be many vote it but would be good to see.

Excellent suggestion.  Duly noted that your comment indicates “no pet peeves”

Unless I missed it, and I may have, the butler question is more directly related to Sky level suites so I can understand the lower percentage there. We book Sky suites and have had the same butler for the last four cruises so that was one of mine, but we'll see if it ends up being an issue.

I agree here, I was starting to look at occasionally suites but not now, I'm not willing to pay over $12,000 for a sky suite and have less amenities. Might as well just book a regular room.

Or...change to another cruise line is an option.  I'm 99% there.

I've got Yacht Club booked for MSC in 2025 - it's about half the price of X and it's on World America so it's more expensive than what I paid before as it's a new ship but it's still cheaper than X.

I'm basically picking based on routes and prices rather than loyalty, sure I signed up for loyalty for all the lines I'm going on but I'm not sticking with just one line.

Those individuals who were lucky to cruise with a ship half full actually had an advantage, as ships are built to a certain capacity for a reason; one cannot expect anything, but a reality cruise with a ship almost or entirely full.  After all, that’s the point!

We only have one issue, their hugely inflated 20% (+/-) markup for a refundable deposit. In this case $2,507 (per stateroom) for a 13-night Apex cruise in an Aqua cabin which is already a ridiculous $494 pp with the nonrefundable rate. Add the refundable deposit surcharge and it's a whopping $591 pp/day. But that's OK, we have other cruising options.

The only thing that really ticks me off is the constant marketing emails. Everything else is a meh. We don't book suites. We always come home several pounds heavier than when we left (even after the restart). And as someone said, I'm happy so long as I don't have to cook, do the dishes, or limit myself to one glass of wine because I have to drive home.

All you have to do is click Unsubscribe at the bottom of one of those emails and they will stop. I clicked on it a few days ago, and none have appeared since.

Other - nickel and diming - devaluation of the product we purchased some time ago - the latest to affect lovers of chocolate chip cookies is a charge of $2.00 plus 20% gratuity - what next???

I don't like the increase in cruise fare but EVERYTHING costs more these days so increased cruise fares are to be expected.  What really makes me angry is the increase in fare and the decrease in product.  When I go to the grocery story and pay 35% more for milk than I did a year ago, I'm not too happy....but at least it's still milk.  But if that milk were to be repackaged into a paper bag with holes for the same 35% increase, well then I'm furious.  Celebrity is charging more for a product that has been repackaged in a paper bag full of holes.

Wow!  Great news!  I hadn't heard...I guess it doesn't pay to skip a day of cruise critic 🤣

Discontinued at the end of the trial period - now "under discussion" so remains to be seen whether it remains eliminated from indoor spaces.

It's the upcharge combined with the downsizing of products that annoys me when shopping in a supermarket.

Amen to that.  There have been several posts about vaping and seems like no one really knows anything except the trial is over and decision will come

No - then I wouldn’t receive any emails and yeah, I like getting one when there’s a new sale. I just don’t want four a day on the same topic.

Actually we’re pretty happy. So we don’t have any major or minor gripes. When prices seem high for the category we usually book  (sunset verandas) we just get a reg or a guarantee.  We are going to be doing two cruises w/o a drink package and just purchase what we want.  We just Iove being out on the water and not  having to worry where we are going to eat.  Agree there has been a lot of changes over the years that were once special.  Remember the chocolate buffets? Midnight buffets etc.   Outside barbecues on sea days?  We have to say smoking is our #1 gripe. At least Celebrity has a pretty good control in it.

As of now 191 people have voted. 133 chose Increasing prices.

As a percentage of people voting this is 69.6% ( 133 divided by 191 multiplied by 100)

The percentage shown 25.38 is calculated as a percentage of the total votes 524 ( 133 divided by 524 multiplied by 100).  This has the effect of thinking 524 have voted when only 191 people have voted.

To calculate the proper percentage of people voting for each category, in your calculations you need to divide by the Number of voters and NOT the total number of votes.
