How many reservations do you have?

Oasis November 2018

Crystal serenity may 2019 (no kids, 15th Ann)

Allure August 2019

We both have demanding careers and we have two small kids so this schedule is pretty crazy for us. But it’s only your 15th once, right?

I presently have three, Hawaii round trip out of San Pedro, next March and two on the Allure for April 2020. However, I am afraid our Allure cruises maybe eliminated if she goes in for dry dock. For the better part of a month, all April sailings for the Allure in 2020 are off the site. I really would like to get something secured for 2020 but am waiting to hear back from my TA. If I log in, my April bookings are still showing.

Just off a Hawaiian cruise today. 3 cruises booked for 2019. One with hubby, one with sister & girlfriends, one with 3 generations for Christmas 2019! Waiting for Summer 2020 to open up for a Mediterranean cruise. Might also book Spring or Summer 2020 (Bermuda or Caribbean).

Hi Pat,

Just finishing our Allure July cruise.

Oasis—9-9-18, 12-2-18, 1-20-18 and 3-3-19.

Allure—10-21-18, 5-12-19, 9-8-19 and 12-1-19. Waiting till the prices become more reasonable for Summer and October 2019.

Hope to also see both of you on the Allure.

Hello John! Hope you had a cruise on Allure! :)

No, we don't have any plans to go on Allure, unless she comes up to PC. Much easier to drive just 20 minutes from home to PC, versus driving all the way to Ft. Lauderdale or Miami for same type of ship and itinerary. Easier for you being further south.

We are booked on Harmony also (only because she is replacing Oasis in PC).

are you all made of money? found a tree that grows money? or rather a whole money growing forest? :o

.

Nope, Retired, house is paid, finished with college cost, wedding cost, now it my turn. I also don't spend a lot of money going out to eat on land and gave up smoking 5 years ago (that alone pays for 2 of my cruises a year). From cruising so often I get balcony discount, 150% single supplement rates, and sometimes discounts from the casino. I also check prices, sometimes twice a day looking for price drops.

Love reading this thread as people that we know look at us strange like 'how can you have 3 cruises booked?'. From here, we're on the low side of "only" 3...lol. Its such a great vacation though...and if we didn't have to fly, I could see us cruising more often. I'm assuming those who cruise more often live within driving distance to a port?

Ditto for us, and we live within driving distance of four ports (moved here so we didn't have to fly any more to get to where the fun is):).

I wish [emoji38]. We have two sons in college & still have a mortgage! Years ago, we created a vacation account. We contribute to it monthly as we do savings and retirement. We absolutely HAVE TO vacation to stay sane, as our jobs are quite intense! We’ve made travel a priority.

That being said, I generally can find GREAT deals despite the fact that we almost always travel during peak season. We have also purchased vacation packages from our TA that includes 3 cruises & 2 land-based resorts, saving us about 60-70% on vacation costs. In addition, we charge EVERYTHING we need (gas, groceries, utility bills, etc.) on our AMEX or Airline card in order to accumulate points and use those points to fly. We pay little to nothing to fly for most of our vacations!

My money tree stopped producing fresh bills when we retired. Luckily before we retired we had stuffed a lot of those bills in pickle jars that we keep buried in the back yard. Every time we need to pay off a cruise due date...it's time to dig up another jar. :D:p;)
