Brandis Posted August 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2018 For the first week of our B2B cruise on Harmony of the Seas, I was eventually able to finish the check-in process, first I got an error regarding the booking being modified at the moment, I then waited a few hours and it worked. Now, a week later the Online Check-In for the second week has been activated but I've been trying for like 4 days now and always get the "your booking is being modified at the moment". So I was just wondering if I even need to do the online check-in for the second week as we basically can stay on the ship anyway, just spend some time in one of the lounges with our fellow B2B travellers, being "virtually" signed off the ship and then back on again. You actually have to be "physically" signed off the ship and then back on, one with your old Sea Pass card, and one with your new Sea Pass card. On the First Checkin there is drop down about how you leaving the ship. along the lines of "plane, car, etc" One of the choices will something like "in-transit". For the second checkin, for arrival there is something similiar. They each will ask you enter some more information (I think each booking number). This should let your steward and the ship know you are doing a back to back. Towards of the end of the first cruise you will get a print out about a meeting point for B2B cruisers. As Prinz said you won't be able to stay onboard the ship. But you will be escorted off the ship do a quick customs check, and then let back on the ship. Sometime during this process you will be issued new Cards. You will have to use your first cruise cards to "sign out" of the ship and then the new cards to "sign backon" the ship. But someone told me that they met in a lounge and all their ship cards were collected and then signed out at one of those check-in/check-out stands. They then had to wait about half an hour or so (presumably until everyone else had left the ship, so they had count zero and then they received new cards with which they then checked in again, so they left the ship virtually, while physically staying on the ship all the time. Not sure if that was a one off, but it sounded convenient. Well, I'll take it either way, as long as I can get on board for a second week. Maybe like others say, try again and check your browser cookies etc Normally we're last to leave, they've taken us into the terminal waiting area before now and then quick check from customs and we're back on board for 'part 2' We've been taken for lunch before also, Giovanni's is the usual fare, but Lady H doesn't have one so I'm waiting to see if we go to the Main Dining room for lunch before i book Jamie's or Chops! You won't need the second one because you won't be checking in through shoreside again. I've always done all the check-ins, but I assume that Guest Services would just use the info from the first cruise if you didn't complete online check-in for subsequent cruises. I remember last time I couldn't do the online checkin for my 2nd leg but today it allowed me to actually complete both...and yes there is a drop down for a consecutive cruiser..departure on the 1st leg and arrival on the 2nd leg. I assume everything will be the same for this 2nd San Juan B2B...got our new SeaPass cards the day before end of 1st leg and escorted off and right back on again. We bring both so we have proof at security when they question why we're bringing 4 bottles of wine. They never asked before... Until our b2b on Oasis this past March. Never left the ship. We waited in the Imperial Lounge, an agent came onboard to inspect passports. Hopefully this expands to other ports as well. But we will arrive one day before the first cruise - so they don’t know when we will arrive at port. After the second cruise we will fly back home, so there it makes sense.
