Dec 24 2016, 15 night Infinity sailing, Valparaiso to Beunos Aires

Silhouette, reflection, and Infinity on the horizon--taken a week after the winter solstice.

This was our over-the-shoulder view from an early morning tender at Punta Arenas, Chile which is located at the southern tip of South America. I know it was my imagination, but that morning the sky and clouds looked different down here at the "53rd parallel south".

Please keep your photos coming.  Many of your photos bring back wonderful

memories of many of these ports that we have visited on past cruises.  We were to

have been on the Equinox this week.  Looking forward to this sad time to end and

boarding a cruise to new adventures.

March 2016 Southern Caribbean Cruise aboard the Eclipse. The first photo is of English Harbour and Nelson's Dockyard in Antigua. The second is of the offerings of an itinerant beach vendor who paddled ashore during our visit to Sugar Beach in St. Lucia.

The Connie in front of the Reflection, September 2014, started as a black sea cruise to Yalta, Sevastopol & Odessa, but Russia invaded the Crimea so itinerary was changed managed to get an Aqua class cabin for less than an original inside. Weather was dreadful!

Montserrat Monastery

AmazonIphone-15.jpg

What a perfect perspective.

Thanks for posting this..nice memories of a beautiful day.

We took a post cruise excursion  to this monastery through X.   It involved a very long but beautiful ride ( many  hairpin curves).

The Monastery itself is amazing.  Was not busy when we arrived...great opportunity to see the Black Madonna. The famous choir was on vacation but worth the visit nonetheless!
