Question for the rum lovers:

Anyone heard of or seen Cozumel Rum Company's Mayan aged artesanal rum with chocolate and cinammon that comes in the blown glass bottle?

(I want the bottle, not the rum LOL! 😁)

I was curious what the bottle looked like.  They have neat looking bottles.  Not sure if the chocolate and Cinnamon is different but this is what I found.

Yes, thanks. The bottles are lovely.
The Chocolate cinnamon flavor is the one in a gold/yellow bottle.

Last night I went to the movies to see the latest &final Jurassic Park movie.  I read in the news yesterday that Top Gun: Maverick is now in the top 5 highest grossing movies ever in Australia and is reviving the fortunes of the cinemas.  I have to say it’s been years since  I have  seen the multiplex busy midweek like it was last night.

It was my choice to see this movie.  This movie  series is obviously hit & miss but I loved the original and the first Jurassic World but sad to say I took a toilet break after 2hrs and just couldn’t face watching another 50mins of the film. Told my friend I was going home.  Texted DH and asked him to pick me up in 10 (he misread my text and thought I said AT 10) so 20mins standing in the cold outside…

Why didn’t I like it?  There was nothing new here. The dinosaurs weren’t very exciting and the return of the original cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum didn’t add much due to the script. There was a new character added- a female pilot.  Liked her.

Just returned from the ortho appointment.  Andy will have surgery on the wrist next Tuesday.
@Ocean Boy since you asked the other day, here’s a screenshot of an X-ray and CT scan.  I think these were after the reduction.  The Dr today (Dr Got with University Ortho) explained everything in great detail but it’s more than I can remember. What stands out is fracture displacement and communition. He mentioned 18 pieces of bone.  Surgical repair involving wires and plates.
@A&L_Ont how’s Owen’s wrist? Did he end up needing surgery?

Sue, where are you cruising in August? We are on the Oasis.

I agree about the D + and drink package. We never get the drink pkg. The 5 vouchers per day loaded on the card are way more than enough for us.

That doesn't look good even to my untrained eye.  Sorry he needs to have surgery.  Sending prayers for a quick recovery.

I loved Top Gun, wasn’t that impressed with Jurassic park either , but I thought it got better at the end. Our favorite bartender said he loved it but saw it in 3D didn’t see that advertised anywhere, we always go to the movies with waiter service for food and most importantly drink.

Reading the reviews after I got home it seems the movie improved like you said in the last 40mins.  My friend is seeing Maverick on my recommendation this weekend but in Gold Class with the serving of food & drink.  We have never done because they don’t offer it at our multiplex which is a shame.

Just take care of her, We are on July 17 for 2 weeks, casino comp cruise.

I might add that cruise on as well but probably won’t until I know if I’m going to, whatever that means. In other words I don’t know if I’m coming or going.  😁

I don't see July 9 listed. Is it sold out?

Darn I don’t see it either now. There were only a few cabins left. Yesterday and this morning it was only showing a boardwalk cabin for balconies. We were debating because it would probably be noisy. This morning we decided to book it and when I called an OVB showed up. Not on their website but on Royals info. I’m thinking maybe a week or so before the cruise more might show up in case people have to cancel due to covid.

My friend and I used to go to the “Chicks at the Flicks” movie sessions.  It would be on a Wednesday night and for $30 a ticket, there would be a market in the foyer before the movie, food platters of yummy nibbles, drinks for sale, a decent gift bag on your cinema seat and a raffle with really good prizes.  One year I won a 3month pass to the ladies only gym.
But over 10 years, the movie quality  on offer dwindled, the attendance dropped and the quality of what was on offer dropped hugely.  The last one we went to pre-pandemic was only 2 rows of us “chicks”.  It used to completely sell out in advance.

What a shame that your "Chicks at the Flicks" is no more.  What a great concept!!

Nasty break. I send a lot of referrals to University Ortho. They have very talented orthopods.
