Beautiful day here also!  I went for my walk this morning, and plan on weeding in the front of the house, while Jim is working on our new Gazebo.

Have a wonderful day, Graham!

Thank you Maryann.

I hope you both have a lovely time in your new Gazebo.

Sorry...Carnival has already taken that name. 😜

I'll submit two other options...

Hillbilly of the Seas

Redneck of the Seas

How is a Redneck divorce and a tornado that same...

No matter what the outcome, someone's losing a trailer.

We were originally planning on going to LBI this weekend but have had trouble with our central AC at our home in PA.    The HVAC guy we have been using for years has had a lot of personal issues in the past year and has been unreliable and never shows up and when he does show up he says a bunch of ideas that could fix the problem but has not resolved the problem so today we had a new guy come to our home.     He is highly recommended on our local Nextdoor neighbor app and lives 2 streets from us.

He arrived on time (big plus considering what we have dealing with trying to get our regular guy here).   Unfortunately, he recommends we get a new unit installed as there are a couple issues with the current AC and he could be chasing after parts and by the time he is done with what may be wrong the answer may be to just replace it.     So we decided today just install a new unit.    Opted for a 16 seer 3-ton high efficiency unit that will be installed this coming week.

This expense along with the fact we are going to have a new roof installed (working on estimates this week).     Homeownership is a Joy🙃

Oh no!  So sorry this happened to you.  We were lucky when our AC went out as a result of a 2 day  blackout.  The unit was 25+ years old.  Insurance covered the cost to replace/install a new unit since when the power came back on the AC didn't. Insurance guy said we were very lucky it happened this way.

We once had our washing machine totally die on us, the very last day of warranty.  Machine needed a brand new motor so we dodged the bullet on that one.  However, with ownership of 3 homes we sank plenty of $$$$ through the years.

I just found the above reply that I guess I didn't submit.

A super, happy birthday @Sea Dog Greg, and a super, happy belated birthday to @jmh2006 Jennifer.

We had a wonderful reunion with our NY friends we hadn't seen in approx. 2 years.  Weather here continues to be delightful - 70s, 80s, sunshine. @George C I hope you have the same weather when you get to NYC.

Homeward bound Thursday.  Never ready for that.

Looks like a really nice camper!

This is the exact unit we have except where you see the extra coach in picture 26 I have converted it into a walk in closet for DW.

I don't know much about RVs but yours looks like a beauty.  Full size kitchen appliances, looks very comfy, super spacious.  I'm sure you'll have many more pleasurable trips in it.

Very nice camper.  Are you full timers?  We have a small motor home that we use on weekends.  However, It's getting ridiculous finding campgrounds with openings on the weekends unless you book way in advance. Even then it's a crap shoot.

Looks great.  How was it?  I bought my son one of those smokers for Christmas not realizing he already had one.  I kept it for myself, but haven't tried it yet.

They are fun. I just smoke the glass instead of the cocktail in it. Sometimes it can get a little too smoky if you do both.

Since I don’t know what +number I am, let me just wish you the happiest of birthdays @Sea Dog Greg.  I will hoist a drink to you tonight.

I think you would have liked my daughter’s tiki mask collection.  They used to have a room decorated with about 20 of them that they picked up on their travels.  They went a different way of decorating this year and put all of them out for bulk trash pickup.  Someone was very lucky, and grabbed them as soon as they made it to the curb.  I know they spent a couple thousand for those, so I don’t know why she didn’t sell them.
